Title: Indian Restaurant with an small Indian shop

Kind and smiling staff Fast serving Very good portions Good presentation of the product Price, quality to quantity is ok A lot of different kind of meals I had the chicken Biryani. On the bottom was tasty well cooked chicken with herbs and spices. On the top was Basmati or something like Basmati rice. This kind of rice I like very much. The taste of this combination was very nice. The portion was big and the price ok for the portion and taste. İ had also the onion salad and it was also nice a nice combination with the Biryani meal.

Except the music nothing remembers an Indian restaurant, no Indian restaurant flair.

Explanation of my votings

Pro Contra o Only for your information

5 Stars: It was really special, you must try it 4 Stars: It was nice, you should try it 3 Stars: Nothing special, you could try it 2 Stars: Try only if you have no alternative 1 Stars: Bad, don't bother trying

To understand... Why do I give 5 stars so rarely? Out of over 365 reviews, I realised that there are no businesses that are 100% perfect. I rate businesses in relation to an area, such as a city and the surrounding area. Most businesses in an area sell similar products of different qualities, and I rate these products up to a maximum of 4 stars. Therefore, I decided to give 5 stars if a business in this region has a unique selling point. This could be a unique product, an awesome view, or cosy surroundings that set them apart from other businesses in the area. Even if their products are not perfect, I can still give a five-star rating if there is something spec...

We had the pleasure of dining at Biryani Point Restaurant recently, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations in every way, and I'm more than happy to provide a positive review for them.

The ambiance was warm, and the aroma of the various spices from the moment you stepped inside was inviting. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxing meal. The staffs were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door. They know how to deliver on flavor! We tried their prawn/chicken biryani and Beef Massala. The biryanis were fragrant and perfectly cooked, with a harmonious blend of spices that left us craving for more. The beef massala was succulent, and the chapati was freshly baked and delicious.

We highly recommend Biryani Point to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Indian dining experience. The combination of exceptional food, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding service makes it a standout choice in the world of Indian cuisine. We'll definitely be returning for more of their delectable dishes...

Authentic Indian (Northern) curry dishes. They also sell a range of Indian ingredients and snacks in the restaurant/shop. Basically... little India in Dumaguete.

Curries tend to have much more sauce than filling, but that's typical when not a home cooked dish. And curries all look the same, but they taste good. Never any samosas to order. It's probably because it's too difficult to keep stock or too fewer orders... not sure.

Family restaurant /shop is air-conditioned and comfortable enough and the staff are attentive given the compact establishment.

Prices are a bit high, but that is because this is Dumaguete and far from the spice trail, but prices are similar to the others. Mutton is exotic, and therefore mutton dishes are much more expensive.

Your curry cravings are satisfied here and you shouldn't be disappointed by the...

I really wanted to like the food here because the staff was friendly, but the food quality was a huge let down. That was the worst butter chicken I've ever eaten and frankly, I am quite shocked to see that there are many positive reviews... When asking if they had my favourite Indian dish, I was told that it would take too long to make. Most of the menu is overpriced, considering that the portions are small and they are not using fresh ingredients; everything tasted like it had been frozen and put in a microwave. Their price point doesn't make sense. We spent 1,100 pesos on a meal for two people and were left very dissatisfied. I've heard that the food here used to be better, but until they improve I really don't recommend spending money here. sorry guys 🙏
