"Disappointing Unlimited Samyupsal Experience"

Me and my girlfriend were craving for a samyupsal meal because we haven't ate like we always do when we are in Manila. We searched around General Luna and found this restaurant while on the way.

What I don't liked:

Menu of Samyupsal is ridiculous. They have a policy for customers that if dining with a group or companion, then one's order should also be similar to all to avoid sharing. The problem here is that price of each unlimited pork, chicken or beef are different and separated. What if each one doesn't like the beef or pork or chicken? Then you are forced to order the same with your companion.

Price Menu is very expensive. The price of unlimited samyupsal is more expense compared to our other usual samyupsal experience like Romantic Baboy and Samyupsalamat but the experience is far from our expectations based on their pricing.

Side dish are not fresh. They served different variety of side dishes but I only liked few of it.

Food Servers were not trained well. Eventhough we were the only customers that time, they still can't focus well on proper serving our meal. Our drinking glass were forgotten, it took us very long waiting for the charcoal and meat, server is nervous and dropped the watermelon on our dish.

Taste of meat is ordinary.

I hope the restaurant can improve since I felt that they are just starting with...

This restaurant is highly recommended! They serve a range of delicious ready-to-eat Filipino foods. Their house specialty is their Peri-Peri Chicken. Their arozcaldo is also quite popular. Their pricing is very affordable considering Siargao’s relatively expensive costs. We came to Michael’s 3 times during our stay at Siargao. What a lovely place - Michael & all working there are so, so friendly & welcoming.
