Value for money? Yes it’s worth the price but i dont really recommend this place. Its along the dusty road so if you have allergies, sinusitis or rhinitis pls avoid this place. The place is filthy and dusty. We took the room with its own bathroom which is only few and costs 850php air conditioned. Ac room without its own c.r is 750. But on our first night, we’ve realized that we made the wrong decision. The bathroom is very small. You really cant do anything but to get inside. The worst is it smells really bad, like it wast cleaned for a decade. I decided to clean the bathroom before we could use it but since it has no ventilation aside from the door towards your bed, there are no any windows on it that is why it stinks. There are only 2 crews on this place plus the owner so i didn’t mind cleaning the toilet my self. I went to the store to buy powdered soap to help wash out the smell but it didnt help. So we decided to just go outside and use the common bath room which is better. On our daily breakfast we had been eating same meal everyday which is rice + hotdog + egg + coffee. Same breakfast everyday! We have also availed their tour package which is very unorganized. The departure tine from the hotel is supposed to be at 6:30am, we left 8:30 because the owner was still preparing for our packed lunch. When we got into the port, we again waited for 30mins for the owner to get our tickets and to finish marinating the food that we’re about to take for our lunch. The owner is kind but she needs more crews to handle her homestay and tour...
Read moreProbably this place is the most affordable accommodations there is in Siargao at Php 380 per night with breakfast.||Given such price, one should not set his expectations that high.||The room was a dorm type where there are 5 double deck beds. It is air-conditioned but not enough to cool the whole area. Mattress is average and you get 1 small pillow and a blanket. ||Although breakfast is free, variety is limited. You will almost have the same breakfast everyday. Coffee is free though and you can sip anytime of the day.||Washroom is shared by everyone. Water becomes an issue when all take a shower at the same time. This usually happens when guests come back from their tour. Electricity fluctuates as experience by the whole island.||Its location is off Gen Luna. You need to ride a habal-habal or tricycle to get to the main road. I do not recommend walking as you will be powdered with dust which is actually common in the inner roads of Siargao. Best option is to rent a moped.||For first timers and on budget, I would recommend this place. You just have to be open when discussing details and itineraries with Ms Vivian, the proprietor.||Would i come back? No. I would try...
Read more1 the place is very cheap, and you can simply go to anywhere from the wet market, port, cloud 9 or gen luna in just 5-10 minutes. Either on a motorbike if you rented one, or through commuting via habal2 or tricycle. When we got there, although no one really welcomed us since the lady owner was not there, but her husband (the kind and soft spoken australian)gave us a key to the room. The room was nice enough to rest and relax after a whole days trip or tour of the island.(You dont really need to stay on a luxurious place on trips like this since most of the time, you'd be out of the room anyways). So anyhow, we stayed here for 4 days, even met the local youtube celebrity Caloy and Zaoe from "Bisayang Hilaw". The place is not near any bars or the main road, and not so near the beach which make it better since it's not noisy at night or anytime of the day. I'd definitely come back and stay here again. BTW free breakfast!!! Giving it 4 stars since no one welcomed us the 1st day and at the same day we knew about the free breakfast during our...
