Really regret spending my money here. I came specifically for the mangos sticky rice only. This seems to be the only Thai restaurant on the island dedicated to just Thai food, so I was excited to have a mango sticky rice for dessert. It was the WORST one I have ever had in my life. Seemed like the person who made it didn’t even look up how to make it, but rather looked at a photo and assumed they could put that together. The rice had no coconut milk in it at all, and also tasted liked it was washed with soap. It’s supposed to be cooked in coconut milk and later soaked in coconut milk, but neither happened. I also don’t think it was glutenous rice. The coconut milk it was served in tasted off, and didn’t have any sweetener in it so it was so bland. And the mango was so mediocre. If you’re gonna overcharge for a simple dish like this, at least put some effort into it. Wish I asked for a refund the second I saw it come out because I knew it wasn’t gonna be good. Please fix this dish. Service came with a smile though, so that was a plus.

Edit in response to the restaurant’s reply: I wasn’t asked how the dish was actually. Totally fine; I didn’t feel like talking about it at the time anyway cuz I was annoyed and over it. I ate it all because I was spending my money, I don’t waste food, I was hungry, and I also walked 20 minutes to get it, so I just called it a loss.

The mango was not sweet. You can’t brag about how great the mangoes in your country are then serve a bad one… this specific one really was not great. I was hoping that maybe I just happened to get a bad dish that day, but it’s disappointing that you’re confident in this recipe because it’s absolutely not good. I’m only leaving a reply so people who know a good mango sticky rice (I’ve had it a million times; it’s my favorite food, so I know) can be aware that it’s not what they may expect or desire. You can even tell by the picture that the rice is not what mango sticky rice should look like. Not writing this review to be harmful; I hope your other dishes are great and customers can enjoy them! Water under...

I am a fun of Bl series especially if it's from or created in Thailand that's why I put it in my bucket list that someday I will go there to experience the culture and the foods of Thai. Until I found out that there's a restaurant here in Siargao that serves a thai foods and that is a thaifoon. As I enter in the thaifoon. I saw how the waitress so smiley, they have a pleasing personality and very accommodating. They offer their best seller and talk about it, so I ordered their best seller which is the Pad thai shrimp. While waiting to my order, I was entertained by the staff, they will talk about what you have ordered and some trivia about Thailand which I like it so much. As they served my order I was shocked because they have a nice plating, it catches the attention of the customer very well. I'd like the aroma of the food thats why I already eat it and as I am expecting, I am very impressed how the food is amazing and yummy. Therefore to those person who wants to eat in thaifoon just try their best seller "Pad thai shrimp" you will not disappointed of what you have ordered. KUDOS to the CHIEF of the restaurant you did a job well done and ofcourse to that staff or waitresses of the restaurant for being friendly and accommodating,I enjoy a lot while eating. I'll back soon to try another thai foods from your restaurant.Kap...

It was my girlfriend who introduced me to Thai food last year and this gem right in my hometown has now become one of our regular spots to dine at! From her recent trip to Bangkok, she made sure to bring home some ingredients and try recreating the dishes for me at home, like the Pad Kra Pao, and Red and Green Curry. I loved them all and she surprisingly got me hooked! And now we are - eating almost every week at Thai Foon. I especially enjoy the Chicken Satay or Cashew Chicken and Green Curry, as well as the Som Tam, and she loves the Pad Thai, Minced Pork with Basil, Spring Rolls and Thai Fried Chicken. And even when full as the servings are quite generous, we never ever leave without having the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert! So good (drools) This place is Highly Recommended and our friends and family visiting us would all agree! Food's always delicious and fresh and the staff are very helpful and greet you with friendly smiles ! This place won't disappoint and you will love the...
