this resto os located along bacarra road, near divine word college of laoag city

it was april 27, we were looking for a place to dine in for dinner, and we thought that having some local cuisine plus bbq would be nice too, so we picked this place and we were surprised that their prices were not that bad. it may take a long time before your food may be serve because they still have to cook for it... so among our orders were pork bbq, sinigang, puchero, crispy pata, and this chopped cripy pata glazed in some sweet sauce, we also got few soft drink (coke and royal). when our order arrived, my sister served soup (sinigang) to his son (9yo) and immediately said "mommy it taste like soap" my sister just thought that he ws just being too picky and we shrugged it off, so minutes before we are almost dome with our meal, i was able to sip the coke and damn, it taste totally different! its like theres a little bit of bitterness and bland and the drink has no spirit anymore, so i tasted the royal and it was more worst its as if t was stored for a long time under the sun that it tasted more bland and bitter. upon looking on its expiry date, its NEAR EXPIRY and i mean 2 days nalang ezpired na!!! (arent this kind of big resto supposed to pull out this kind of drinks ahead???) so when i complained it to the server the one who took our order said that he will just replace it or just cancel it from our bill? then he took the bottle to the counter and another waiter looked at it and took the bottle back to our table and said "HINDI PA PO ITO EXPIRED. SA 29 PA PO SYA MAEEXPIRE" this nosy waiter who tried to convince is with his dimwitted act insisiting that theres nothing wrong with the drink, so i told him "restaurant kau diba? hindi ba dapat pull out nyo na yan at binabalik sa supplier o dna dapat pinapainom sa customer???? try mo tikman at kumuha ka ng newly delivered drinks tas compare mo. yung coke nga wla na din spirit e" (then shook the bottle and there were no bubbles) the waiter left with the bottle of royal.

after all the kids were done with their food, me and my sister tried to taste the rest of the food, their sinigang with cabage really tasted like a dish washing soap!!!! the sinigang and puchero which bu the way taste like bulalo and is far to being a puchero were served in palayok...

that was our 1st and last time to go and dine to that place...

they do not have any site where you can send you feedback, so im leaving mine here.

thanks...

[During pandemic] As in most establishments, this restaurant temporarily closed then reopened to accept only the minimum required number of diners. It is not an enclosed structure, no air-conditioning, so air is freely flowing. This is popular for its Inasal style of chicken barbecue. So that was what brought me to the place, at lunchtime, during a recent trip in Ilocos. Nothing was spectacular in the taste though. Servings were at least generous. Service was prompt and the food was cheap. My feeling however, was that this restaurant was just over rated. Well, at least it's different from the common fast food chains.

Still, from what I've heard, during pre-pandemic days, this was a popular restaurant. Busy periods were lunch time and dinner time in the evenings when the environment was less hot. During those times, the restaurant was...

Affordable price and nice crew, they serve you correctly, i will come back here again because of a very delicious food they serve. Their best-seller, Chicken Ati is definitely a must try. It resembles the Chicken Inasal from a well-known food chain as well. And oh, above all, you sure would chill as you enjoy your food along with great music. Try here and you will not...

The food was good, service was fast, the ambiance was spacious, perfect for family and groups looking for varieties of meals. I love the chicken inasal thou there are so many in the menus to choose from. The menu price is very reasonable.
