*Eat here again recently. I reduced the stars from 5 to 2. I was really excited on dining and eat siopao and fresh lumpia. Buchi is availbe this time so i orderd one for 30php. The buchi taste good, the lumpia taste the same but with different texture. However, the siopao, was already spoiledand pisses me off. First bite i thought somethings off with the dough until i opened it up the veggies were a bit slimmy and has the stale taste and smell. I returned it, tho they offer me a refund however they keep on insisting that the siopao is hasnt gone bad that the taste is supposed to be that way. I have tasted their siopao and this is not it. asked them to eat the part which is not touched, they refused. I rest my case and walked out immediately.

My friends from Iloilo mentioned that this resto is not that sanitary, i didnt mind maybe they ment about the ambiance and i was hoping not the food. Maybe its one of those days they were not carefull, but offering stale / spoiled food to costumers is a big disappointment for me. One less resto crashed from the list to go. I would not recommend this to my friends or foreigners. This is a total oposite from my first time eating here. Tho they offer authentic chinese meal, well its up to you.

  • first review Tucked within the heart of Iloilo old quarter. We went here when theyre about to close so most of the food is already cold and siomai are already sold out. HOWEVER, the siopao with vegies is sooo gooood a must try when you come here, your 40pesos is so worth it. Im not a fan of fresh lumpia but their fresh lumpia is the most tasties without sauce even. Not the fanciest place you can it, but worth the experience

As someone who has been eyeing this shop for so long since I've got here in iloilo, it's actually somewhat disappointing to me.

I was ecstatic pa at first, and I don't really care about the ambience and all because I came for the food, but the customer service is really awful! Came in with 2 ppls in front of me, and of course I waited lang and kept quiet cuz I don't wanna rush bc there's only 2 staffs working at that time. So when it was my turn, I asked first how much the serving is if I won't order a combo. Since there's no any prices there, they answered naman, but after that, she proceeded to asses other customer when I clearly said I'm going to get a serving of that right after she said the price.

Going on with the food, I ordered the cauliflower dish, sweet and sour pork, and fried rice. Cauliflower dish was ok. Sweet sour pork was ok din, but somehow it has this spoiled aftertaste for me. I could say it's not seasoning kasi I'm not new to eating chinese food naman. Lastly, fried rice is the only good thing that I ate.

Overall, it's ok na for a student like me, but personally, I won't go back again. I wouldn't really recommend it, but if you want to try, then go on because maybe you'll get to have a different...

My go-to for affordable and authentic Chinese food in the city. Serving is plenty and flavors are delish for the price, you'll definitely leave with a sated stomach. I frequent the place after transacting business around the downtown area and their noontimes are always jampacked.

The soup dumplings never disappoint, their well-known bestseller that is. Their siomai is an overload, no one-bite can contest that—just be sure to reserve a spot as it can be gone in a blink just after it is served during noontimes. The beef noodle soup is a comfort after an exhausted day, always freshly prepared. However, my personal favorite is their pork and vegetable stir-fry, I'd always come back for seconds or a take out. To battle against the heat, my favorite is their blueberry bingsu/mein-mein shaved ice topped with nata de coco.

They've renovated the place early this year. Just be wary that during dine-ins from noon to the late afternoon, the resto can get quite warm. Although it may have industrial fans, due to it being positioned by the side of the road, the hot breeze is...

A Hidden Gem for Chinese Comfort Food in Iloilo I stumbled upon this place while browsing social media and got curious enough to try it with my family. It’s a Chinese restaurant in Iloilo with a cafeteria-style setup. We came around noon, and while it was busy, we were lucky to find a table. The place is bright and comfortable, even though it’s not air-conditioned. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made ordering easy despite the wide selection of dishes. Since there were so many options, I just picked a few to share. We had beef soup, tofu, sweet and sour pork, kikiam, beef broccoli (which my cousins really enjoyed), fresh lumpia, assorted butchi, fried rice, and vegetable siopao. For me, the standouts were the fresh lumpia, beef soup, siopao, butchi, and fried rice—definitely worth trying! Everything had that comforting, homey feel to it. It was a good experience overall, and I’ll be back to try their siomai and dumplings next time!
