Ayer's Lechon Airport — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

The shop is conveniently located near the entrance of the departure area, making it easy for buyers to grab their items quickly. However, the quality of the lechon is far from the best. While I understand that airport prices tend to be higher, the steep cost doesn’t justify the quality. This shop has a reputation for inconsistency—sometimes it’s decent, but often it misses the mark.

The cut wasn’t great, and the marinade didn’t seep through properly, leaving the meat lacking in flavor. I find it puzzling that so many celebrities endorse this place, seemingly without much thought, as long as they’re paid. Most locals, however, know exactly where to find the best lechon.

Bought 1kg spicy lechon belly for more than 1k php. Price is nearly double of city prices.

Whats even worse is they served LOTS of fat. Thick cuts of pure fat more than 1 inch thick that is super oily. Theres even more fat not shown in the pic.

Another thing is they add the weight of the chilis and spices for the spicy lechon. Whats the point of paying more money for the spicy variant when theyd just include it in the total weight. If customers are paying more for spicy, it's common sense that it will be extra weight. So 1kg pork + few grams of spices but obviously they dont do it here because they just care about profit.

Staff is even rude and condescending. Ayers hits the jackpot in doing all things wrong.

Was craving for Cebu lechon , was told by airport staff to try AYERS lechon . I m sorry to say IT WAS THE WORST LECHON I VE TASTED !!!! Meat was tough , no taste and very dry. Most likely not fresh lechon . I ordered 2.5 kilos of regular & they gave me spicy . For a kilo of meat only 4 tiny pcs of skin . Unlike any of the pictures seen on your ads which show a fair amount of skin. Avoid this lechon place unless you want leftovers for your dogs . I would have been better off buying from Zubuchon...
