We stayed for one night after a late flight into Cebu airport. The reception is actually for another accommodation provider called Clockwork Orange. The Spacepods are housed in a seperate building which appears to be largely unoccupied, but once you're in the room it's okay. The pods themselves are modern and there are singles and doubles unlike previous capsule hotels we've stayed in. While we were there, there was a power outage and we took a little while to find the manual door opener, so we were locked in the pods for a short time which was a bit claustrophobic. We were the only guests for the whole pod area which was a good thing as I can't imagine how cramped the common areas would be if it was busy. There's a small locker room to put your stuff but the lockers were too small for our suitcases. The shower area is small, with two toilets, two showers and four sinks. One of the showers blocked.|Overall, a cheap place to stay for one night and I...
Read moreConvenient Stay Near the AirportI stayed at BMax near Mactan International Airport and had a pleasant experience overall. The building may be a bit old, but it’s well maintained and kept clean, which made the stay comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating — they made check-in and check-out smooth and were always ready to assist. Lockers are available for storing your belongings, which is a nice touch. Just a tip: it’s best to bring your own padlock for added securityThe location is perfect if you need a place close to the airport, and it’s ideal for short stays or layovers. It’s not the quietest place, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs, but it still offers a decent place to rest before or after a flight.Overall, it’s a practical and budget-friendly option with good service and a...
Read moreVery clean, very comfortable and located conveniently near the airport. The pizza place on front of the reception entrance is great, so we didn't miss anything here and would come again given the opportunity. The space theme is an entertaining gimmick and I was glad to find out it was actually quite a nice spot.
However, some recommendations for improvements: the reception is actually the reception of the clockwork orange hotel, was a bit confusing to find. the pods/capsules are equipped with screeching plastic semi-automatic doors with an electronic lock. Since we have witnessed quite a few power cuts in the Philippines, I fear being trapped inside. Nothing for claustrophobics. So why not just use curtains? Here is where the space gimmick...
