Takoyadon | SM City Legazpi — Restaurant in Legazpi

This is my first time trying Takoyaki at Takoyadon in SM Legazpi, and honestly, I was very impressed! The crew is all approachable, making me feel comfortable ordering, and they suggested some best sellers for me to easily decide what I would order to satisfy my cravings. I ordered the octopus takoyaki and takoyaki bacon and cheese, and both were absolutely delicious. The octopus takoyaki were perfectly cooked and tasty. The bacon and cheese with a flavorful filling that melts in my mouth is my favorite. What truly amazes me is the affordable price, like an expensive food I have tried. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Takoyadon. The delicious food, friendly service, and affordable prices make it a place satisfaction and I'll definitely be returning to soon. I was hoping that it would exceed my expectations, but turns out it's not that special. Meh.

The service was terrible. I always had to wait for 30 to 40 minutes for a single order—twice bc I gave it another chance. The things you do for the love of takoyaki.

To think that it's not even an authentic japanese cuisine, but they take too long to serve you. Some customers would just walk out whenever they are offered to wait for 30 minutes lol.

2023 update: It's still not worth it. I gave it another try for this year and it doesn't...

For taking so long to find something to eat at SM Legazpi. Takoyadon was the one store that caught our fascination. I didn't hesitate to buy the Tako and Bakon Chizu, which were extremely appealing.

Cravings is truly satisfied thanks to its fluffy texture, cheesiness, and aroma.
