Update: We're able to dine in last February 02, 2024. Their ambiance was more welcoming and the environment was peaceful. Was able to order truffle fries and mango pili cheesecake, and matcha lattes. For the Fries, the taste was savory but the it was served almost cold. Not a fan of cold fries. For the matcha it was so good, but it was not for my stomach's liking, yet still on point. And lastly the cheesecake, I love how the whipped cream balance out the cheesecake, and it has a very nice plating. Just a bit pricey but it was compensated nonetheless.
This dine in experienced was last September 2023, so this might not be as helpful. However, I believe that they still deserve to know what I think about their restaurant.
The restaurant is very high-end, they do not have the same ambiance like other restaurants in legazpi. It's sophisticated. The only issue that we have encountered last time we dine here was the loud scream of toddler running around the restaurant (which I know that it wasn't the restaurant's responsibility to begin with), having those type of kids running around like the restaurant like it was a play ground always ruins dine in experience for me. We wasn't able to enjoy our meal because of the noise.
For the food, it was kinda salty to my liking, and their sisig was a platter which can feed 2-3 pax, I think they have to clear those out because my partner thought it was a solo meal. They could've been clear with that.
We would like to dine here again some other time and try other foods and beverages...
Read moreA hidden gem located at the corner of Legazpi's Landco Business Park. If you know the former location of DJC Halohalo in Legazpi, a new café is now built in this area. And it's now called Cesar's.
So during early second quarter of 2023, I ordered a Peach Mango Danish pastry. If you have tried eating croissant, this is of the same texture. And for the drink, I picked Iced Caramel Macchiato.
So here are my two cents about Cesar's:
(1) Don't dine in during busy/rush hours. Book your reservation ahead of time.
(2) Expect it to be noisy when you dine in during busiest hours.
(3) I love the interiors. The interior design is a mix of Filipino-Italian-Mediterranean aesthetic.
(4) Typical price range for drinks is similar to Starbucks. Taste of Iced Caramel Macchiato nothing special.
(5) Pastries are overrated. But I believe their items from the main course department are worth the price as they are generously served.
(6) Servers didn't know this rule: Don't serve a croissant textured bread with a bread knife. Nobody needs a bread knife on a croissant because French people use bare hands to eat a croissant, one bite-sized portion at a time.
Regardless of everything mentioned here, will definitely go back. Will bring my family here as soon as it...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time at Cesar's! The place is very cozy and stylish, with a classy interior design. The only downside was that the tables were too close to each other, so I could hear the conversations of other customers. But the customer service was excellent! The waiters and servers were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice seat for two, even though the table was meant for four. I really appreciated their kindness. The food was delicious, too! We ordered lechon kawali and burgers, and they were both cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the seasoning was just right with salt and pepper. We also had caramel macchiato and frappe caramel white, which were tasty but not amazing. They have a decent Wi-Fi connection, but it's not very fast since the mobile signal in the area is also weak. The price was reasonable for the value. I would definitely come back to try their...
