As a traveller and a guest, we felt unwelcomed and mistreated. I won't even recommend this place.
We arrived at the hotel at 1pm (with the help of a door to door service from Residencia Del Hamor) they asked us to wait for a while since the standard check in time is 2pm plus they are still cleaning the room (I understand since I am a hotelier and we are used to check in hotels). By 1:30 I approach the front desk again and asked for a place to leave our things and to have our lunch first. It's already 2:42pm when we came back, unfortunately they cannot provide our room again and the reason is definitely hilarious ---- the bedding wasn't done yet!!!!! The F.O steward said its because the former guest check out late. (okay, I'm there. Standard check out time is at 12 pm; if the guest request for a late check out the maximum we can provide is at 1pm especially if we are expecting another guest to check in. Plus the time difference between the check out and check-in it's intended for the housekeeping to do their job.) It was really frustrating so in return we require the late checkout, it has been an argument between Ms. Sherly and with my friend. (from that I already have seen how she handle complaints, she even frown)
I appreciate the two FO that helps the HK team in fixing the room. However as we cross paths in the hallway we hear them say that they are not housekeeping. (as a manager, i believe it's a must that all employees should know the basics)
When my emotions cool down, I decided to gave them another chance, I went down and apologize to the FO agents for what happened earlier not because we are wrong but because I know how to be in their foot. Again as an FO manager in a hotel in Manila, i know how to serve people and the inside tasks plus i believe i am the one who have the rights to defend them to my friends.. so I planned to buy some treats for them since we stressed them earlier (initiative). Unfortunately as I came back the two who helped the hk, already ended their duty; so i just gave it to the remaining one who is on duty to be shared. I don't know is she's mad at me or really not in mood to serve guests. She answered me "wala na sila nagout na" -- without eye contact. So okay!! I just left.
To the managers and heads, i guess you have to regularly train your staffs and reprimand them of the hospitality management and etiquettes. As your lobby rules say "treat your staffs in mankind and avoid offensive and harshwords" . So in return may i request -- not to look down on your guests, we may not be in our most presentable and professional outfits since we are in vacation mode but we hope and expect to be...
Read moreWe booked two rooms/double bed last may 2018. The location is good and close to ayala mall and lcc. Easy to get transportation like jeep and tricycle since it is just along the road. The hotel was under renovation, the room was small and the aircon were not properly working and so noisy. Our rooms were close to the reception area and the receptionist and housekeeping were so noisy early in the morning. Wish they can be a little considerate since there were guest. We asked 2 for extra towel and they gave us only 1 otherwise we need to pay the extra one. The towel they gave was used, wet and dirty. |Booking rooms here is thru facebook, their website is not working well. Easy to book hotels via facebook. The receptionist that I am talking with in fb was friendly and helpful.|Budget hotel. Only recommend to stay here 1day and not for long. Too hot and noisy. There is no elevator as well so it is difficult to bring luggage upstairs, especially their rooms are all uptairs and difficult when you have 2 or more big suitcase with you. Maybe after the renovation they...

Very friendly staff. The security guard even lent us an umbrella.||The cons:|1. Not advisable for senior citizens as they don't have elevators and the flight of stairs is too steep for someone really old or having difficulty climbing stairs.||2. They don't have in-house resto. We have to walk for several yards to have our free breakfast(we booked the tour via travel agency).||3. They should consider providing a water dispenser at least in the reception area.||4. The room assigned to us looks like a prison cell with very small window that only a portion of the sky can be seen.||5. They should consider adding shower curtains in their bathroom.||Some of the pros:|1. Accommodating staff|2. Location|3. Basic toiletries were provided for each of the guest. They even have slippers.||All in all, it was an average stay but there must be other better accommodations to stay in Legaspi for...
