Black Canyon Coffee — Restaurant in Makati

The first food i look for when landing in Bangkok...Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai.. Am pleasantly surprised to discover that Thai brand Black Canyon Coffee is here in Manila (sorry, maybe because starbucks has always had the brand recall factor and the arrival of Tim's from Canada is always a sentimental favorite...) So here I am trying my 2 of my favorite Thai food (Thai restaurants are quite disappointing here in Manila with the exception of Benjarong or People Palace...which are quite pricey for everyday meals) in a Thai brand coffee house...not bad, really but it makes me miss Thai food more...but really, it is good! I have always said that I will only eat Thai food in Thailand ( or Benjarong or People Palace if budget allows) but Black Canyon will be the place in case of uncontrollable cravings for Thai food will hit...

We, group of five, were forced to sit in a couch that can barely accommodate only four, not even talking about tiny table, designed to bend down to eat the dinner. One of us is 6 ft tall. There was no one on the other side of glass door, no ongoing reservation. We used to eat in that room with no problem and with no reservation. When I requested, said it’s only for reservation and at least for 15 people. No one is there, no ongoing reservation confirmed, empty. No solution offered by the restaurant for us, five people, to comfortably sit and enjoy dinner. We just left, shocking and disbelief. Will never come back. The 1st time I went to Black Canyon I had the Thai Green Curry. It was fantastic. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to take my son to try it. Of course that time they were "out of stock". We left and went to Agave. Went there again a couple days of go. Ordered the the Thai green curry with Fusilli. Out of stock on the Fusilli. I mentioned to the waitress that they can get some at the supermarket but that really seemed to confuse her. We then ordered the Thai Green curry and she comes back and tells us again "Out of Stock", Tried to order the minced pork. Again she tells us "out of stock" on the minced pork. It is beyond my comprehension how businesses are run in...
