Circuit Manor — Hotel in Makati

We requested for early check-in but they did not allow even though there's low occupancy. When the reception staff/bakery crew finally checked us in at 3pm, we were given a completely dirty room, like the previous occupants just left. They gave us a new room, which is way too small than what is shown in the pictures, and there were no towels inside. I went to the reception to ask for towels and the same staff told us that clean towels will arrive by 7pm. Come 7pm, no towels arrived, and when I called the reception, a different staff told me that he will look for towels in other vacant rooms. Great! I also went to the roof deck to put a drink in the refrigerator, and the place was not clean and doesn't smell nice. I think they allowed smoking there because I saw an ashtray on the table. The refrigerator was also full of rubbish. But most of all, there was no mini pool. No security guard on site, too. The staff who checked us in was also totally indifferent, like he's not happy with his job. Worst...

Good place to stay, has aircon and everything you need to be comfortable. Staff are friendly and assist when help is needed. Only problem I had was the communial area on the fifth floor, ants were on the counter tops in the kitchen. The policies are not really that enforced, contradicts itself such as the curfew for the communial space was 10pm but still accessible beyond 10pm. My family and I stayed here for a month and I had to switch rooms due to the smell coming from the toilet. Wi-fi in some of the TV's in the rooms to watch Netflix or YouTube are sometimes slow and takes a while to load. Able to browse on your phone with the Wi-Fi fine.

Cleanliness wise, the rooms are cleaned but not to the best standard, there was still bottles of water and juice under my bed I was sleeping in. They said they cleaned it but not to the full extent.

For me the location is a bit tiring especially when it's hot and practically saving a day if you want to "gala". Nearest area is at Ayala Circuit few minutes to walk, so you have no choice but to book a ride to get there when you're not into walking, or you're tired. 2 stars for the location, because it's not bad at the same time, they have moonleaf where you can relax or chill. They also have rooftops to take photos of the view, night is a great time. Rooms are clean, plugs are just a bit away from the area where you neesed them most, good thing they offer extensions.
