Terry’s in Chino Roces has been an institution for decades, and unlike many other Spanish restaurants, this one is aging gracefully. While the menu now offers fewer dishes than in the past, the quality and consistency remain impressive.
Service: 5/5 The staff is well-trained, professional, and knowledgeable. It’s clear they’ve been with the restaurant for years—they confidently and accurately answer any question.
Ambiance: 5/5 I love the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you feel at home, perfect for long conversations with friends over wine until closing time.
Food: 4/5 • Croquetas de Cochinillo – 5/5 Creamy, silky, and unexpectedly delicious. I usually prefer other flavors, but this one really impressed me. • Chopi-Fritos – 3/5 Good, but not the best I’ve tried. • Angulas al Ajillo – 4/5 Well-executed and enjoyable. • Spanish Omelette – 5/5 A classic Spanish tortilla, perfectly made. • Oxtail – 3/5 Nicely cooked with good texture, though the flavor could be improved. Still decent overall. • Paella Parellada – 5/5 A standout dish. Though it includes chorizo—uncommon in traditional Spanish paella—it’s generously packed with shrimp, squid, pork, and chicken. Very well-cooked and flavorful. • Tocino de Cielo – 3/5 Technically perfect, but too sweet for my taste. If you enjoy rich, sweet desserts, this one’s for you.
Overall: A wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re...
Read moreThis is a somewhat hidden, upscale Spanish bistro that's located at the side of Prime building. Yes - the prices are at the higher end of the scale. Has a wine cellar and open deli where you can browse while waiting for your orders to be cooked. Their wine selection is very extensive, and can be paired to what you order.
Not wheelchair accessible, but you can use a walker to climb the stairs. Customer service is tip-top service. Carpark best accessed after 5pm when the office crowd goes home.
Does the quality of the food justify the high prices? Excellent and delicious Spanish and continental food - but here's my take. The paella... Has no burnt/crisp bottom which I've always looked for in a paella. So there!
But wood-panel interiors, attentive customer service and delicious Spanish food - you'll need to try it at least once to make your own judgement....

Food was superb! We ordered the Cinco Jotas Croquettes and the Super Paella Parellada, both were great. I love how plump and fresh the shrimp was in the Paella-- my only comment was it wasn't deveined (personal preference).
They also provided bread and butter while we wait for our orders, which was a very tasty lifesaver as I was famished.
Our bill was a little over 2,000PHP so it was quite expensive, but good for once in a while dates.
They also have a gourmet store on the left upon entry. They sell an amazing assortment of cheese, wine, meat, etc.
I love this place! Will...
