INN DE AVENIDA — Hotel in Makati

Updated review (2025): Inn de Avenida is really our go to place when we are in Makati. The staff is amazing: even when we arrived here for the 2nd time, the staff recognized us with a 'Welcome back', and we're sad to even notice 3 staff have left over the past 2 years (a guard and 2 front office staff). The service is excellent and very warm compared to other accomodations in Makati / Bangkal; name something you need, and they provide it: Iron? Check. Can opener? Check. Hair dryer? Check. Beer? Check. This is also the only place that is 100% pest free (not a single cockroach) in Makati under 2500php/night (as far as we found). Recently they also added renovation/upgrades to the rooms, like new bidets, new paint, etc. The beds and showers are the best we found in PH within the 2.5k/night range: soft comfortable beds, hot strong showers. The neighbourhood safety is average, never had problems or felt unsafe but some signs of poverty are visible on the streets outside. This really is the ideal place for us; with the only minor downsides being sometimes unstable internet (though still comparable or better than Makati average) and a set of stairs. But for this price range, they really perform excellent and we'll be returning many more times. Nick & Riza

Would definitely recommend this place. I stayed here for 9 nights before going to my hometown. The room and toilet are spacious, as well as clean.Toiletries, disposable slippers, bottled water, kettle and coffee are provided. There is no lift however the security guard helped me in carrying my luggage. In terms of its location, its pretty accesible to jeepneys, buses and MRT. Fastfood resto are 550 metres away from hotel. I chose to have the breakfast included and there were considerate to have my breakfast past 10am, since I am not usually eating early in the morning. The receptionists are nice and helpful.When you are inside the room you can hear the noises from outside since it right beside the main road. But before comfirming the booking they will tell you about this issues. Anyway, I had a good sleep despite the noise.I guess I am just used to any noise. The AC is also producing a noise but its working and cold. Overall, the hotel is a good place if you are looking for a budget...

It was all good, but beware of the location because it is along Edsa so it will be noisy. It is also quite far from the mall. I booked with them through a hotel app and I wrote my review, overall I gave them 7 out of 10 coz I got a little uncomfortable about the guard always asking unnecessary questions. Then the management angrily sent me a message that if I gave them 7 I should never go back to their establishment which I wont. Also I replied and tried to explain why I ended up giving 7 but they just told me not to bother. This is the most unprofessional staff I ever encounter and couldn't even take constructive criticism from guest. I read in other reviews that they experience the same situation with me so I wonder if they also send the same message as they did to me. Or maybe because I'm a Filo so they think I am an easy target. Either way sooo disappointing. Beware in giving them negative review they will...
