Chowking Shaw Acacia — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

Hi, I would like to express my disappointment.

I just came from work, and we decided to order takeout from Chowking Acacia Lane, Shaw. I ordered 1 Imperial Chicken Chop with egg fried rice and drinks, and 1 Pork Chao Fan with 4 pcs. Steamed Pork Siomai.

But, when we were about to eat, I realized that the Pork Chao Fan I ordered didn’t have the siomai topping. There was sauce for the siomai, but no siomai included. The receipt clearly showed what I ordered.

I was really hungry and excited to eat, especially since Pork Chao Fan is a favorite of mine and my partner’s. This is actually the second time we’ve experienced an issue. The first time, we also ordered Pork Chao Fan, but the rice was so sticky it felt like eating suman. We couldn’t enjoy or finish our meal. That also happened after I came from work.

I’m really frustrated with the service. I hope you can at least check if the customers’ orders are complete before...

Visited the Chowking Shaw Acacia branch last night, which is a 24-hour store. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite having many customers, the dining area was already included in their pre-closing procedure, making it inconvenient for dine-in guests.

There was a noticeable lack of staff, the floor wasn’t clean, and there was no Milksha available. We waited around 30 minutes for our orders and had to follow up ourselves. Even the manager was handling cashier duties, which shows how understaffed the branch is.

I recently visited this branch, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The food quality was outstanding, fresh, and full of flavor—definitely not your typical fast food experience. Each item I ordered was prepared with care, and the ingredients were of a higher quality than what you'd expect from a fast food joint.

The service was equally exceptional. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making sure my order was perfect and served in no time. They genuinely seemed to care about providing a great experience, and it really showed.
