First time to try this so I went to the basic and as suggested by the crew their best seller which is The King Salt & Pepper Chicken with a side of Fried Brocolli.

Location of the resto was on the far end of SMDC Light Mall in which I think the reason why when i got there, no one was really dining in. Ambiance is good but, would be helpful to play some upbeat music to attract customers.

Service Crew was very kind & attentive. I like that they also have option to pay via card. Wait time is around 15-20 minutes.

When I got my order it was flaming hot & they were kind enough to give me. Glass of water because I didn't order any drinks since I already have one too.

The Chicken was soo big. Very juicy as well. I just felt like the seasonings were too much. Inside was already well seasoned then the batter too. It's good at first bite but, after a few bites, I cant finish it. Also, I find ti to expensive for its price given that the half of the chicken was pure bones. I honestly thought it was pure boneless chicken lol. I'd rather buy this on famous fast food chains thats a lot cheaper.

Overall it was really a good experience. Recommended to those who are looking for something similar to...

I just got home from Taipei, and having tried Monga there, I decided to try it out here too. First impression: the size is the same, so we're off to a good start. After having a bite, I'd say the chicken is juicy and the breading is crispy, HOWEVER, it's like this branch pulled its punches with the taiwanese seasonings. You can feel it's there but they opted to have it less, maybe to accommodate pinoy taste buds.

I wouldn't say it's bad, it's honestly decent. If this wasn't the same chain as what we had in Taipei, I might've given this a higher rating. However, it really did not capture the taste we had back there.

Additionally, the price, again, compared to its og branch is more expensive here. It's priced at 99 NTD (around 178 php) for the chicken alone in Taipei, and in here it is 235 PHP (no rice). I'd say Monga PH should make their prices cheaper, maybe scale down the sit-down spaces and focus more on the chicken...

I ordered the Chee-Z Signature Fried Chicken with Rice and an Iced Matcha Latte; and I got to try their taro nuggets as well.

For the chicken, it is huge. I've tried this before at a different branch so I already know it's pretty good. If you'd like to try, do note that while it may look like a fillet, it's not entirely boneless.

For the nuggets, it's my first time trying them and I loved it! It's lightly coated, but it packs flavor; it's a great option if you want something to snack on other than fries (which they also have).

For the matcha latte, it's also my first time trying it. I like that it's a little milky and not sweet.

The service was great and prompt. I'd definitely come back to this branch and try their...
