The Original Savory Escolta - Online (Mandaluyong) — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

Very disappointed. The staff took advantage of us. They didn’t help us with quantity of order instead they encouraged us to order big portions. We ended up spending P7k for 9 adults and 2 kids and brought home half of what we ordered. The Senior’s discount was applied to the cheaper meals. Family sized meals that they recommended did not attract Senior’s discount.

Food in other Savory restaurants and other family restaurants is much much better. The restaurant looks untidy. Fried chicken (meant to be their specialty) was dry and low in flavour. Rice looked like a lump of starch. Veggies mashy. Noodles- that’s what it was. Just noodles. Very little protein or veggies.

Today was a family reunion / celebration that turned very sour.

The food is much better than the other Savory branches found in malls, but the service and cleanliness of the place was lacking.
