My friend and I were discussing what type of pizza we will be ordering since she wants Quattro (Formaggio) & I wanted another type of pizza. Good thing we were informed that we can get 1/2 of each. The one who took our order recommended the Pizza alla Pescatora for the other half. We then proceeded to order the Gambaretti which has been well-received by others who have tried Raffaele Pizzeria. We were torn between ordering a salad, since I wanted one but my friend is not much of a salad-eater. Again, our server suggested the Beef Tagliateli or the Lamb. We opted for the Beef. We received our complimentary bread, which I very much enjoyed with the Gambaretti. My friend and I tried the 2 types of pizza, she prefered her Quattro (I find it also ok). The Pescatora (w/c was mostly consisting of squid) was also wonderful, although I poured a lot of chili oil, Tabasco, and some of the garlic bits from the Gambaretti to my slices of pizza. The Beef Tagliateli was divine, we had it done medium well. The potatoes marbles were tasty. The beef must be eaten together with all the components (gravy, potato puree, some greens that has been slightly cooked, garlic bits with parsley) on the plate, except maybe the potato marbles since it is a bit big if you included it. All 3 dishes were highly-praised by my friend as well. I ordered a takeout of Tuna Conserva and the Uva Insalada. Place: The resto has a good view and has a good ambiance. Lighting inside is soft and it adds to the character of the place.
