Nestled high above the cityscape, The Skydeck offers an unparalleled dining experience that combines exquisite cuisine with breathtaking vistas. My recent visit to The Skydeck left me spellbound, as each dish surpassed my expectations and elevated my dining experience to new heights. Ceviche: The journey began with the ceviche, a vibrant and refreshing dish that set the tone for the evening. The freshness of the seafood paired harmoniously with the tangy citrus marinade, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Each bite was a tantalizing blend of textures and tastes, leaving me craving more. Nachos: Next up were the nachos, a true crowd-pleaser that exceeded all expectations. The mound of crispy tortilla chips was generously topped with melted cheese, savory beans, fresh salsa, and creamy guacamole. With each crunchy bite, I found myself transported to flavor paradise, savoring the perfect balance of spice and indulgence. Kare Kare: The journey through culinary bliss continued with the Kare Kare, a Filipino classic that was executed flawlessly. Tender chunks of meat simmered in a rich peanut sauce, accompanied by a medley of fresh vegetables. The depth of flavor in each spoonful was astounding, a testament to the chef's mastery of traditional Filipino cuisine. Ricotta Cheesecake: To conclude the meal, I indulged in the ricotta cheesecake, a decadent delight that left me utterly enchanted. The velvety smooth texture of the cheesecake was complemented by the subtle sweetness of the ricotta, creating a dessert that was both luxurious and comforting. Each forkful was pure bliss, a perfect ending to an unforgettable dining experience. In addition to the impeccable cuisine, The Skydeck boasts unparalleled views of the city skyline, providing a breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The attentive service and inviting ambiance further enhanced the dining experience, ensuring that every moment spent at The Skydeck is nothing short of extraordinary.

We went to bayleaf skydeck in the first seating around 5pm. When we went upstairs we were greeted well by the friendly staff who assisted us to our seats. Around that time, the place wasn't that full so we got the best table overlooking intramuros. When it came time to order, we chose to order the kare kare (which is their house special), their asian ceviche, and for desert, we chose to get the house chocolate tin cake. Eating that first bite of the kare kare was amazing. One of the best kare kare I ever had! It was rich with the peanut sauce and the beef was flavorful. The vegetables still had a bit of crunch to them without being raw. Overall, I give it a 10/10. We then ate the asian ceviche. It was the perfect palate cleanser to the kare kare. It provided the acidity to cut back the richness of the kare kare. If you ever tried kinilaw, its that but wayyyy better, I give it a 8.5/10. When it was finally time for desert so we dig straight in the cake. The cake was so moist and chocolatey it was addicting! If you're a fan of chocolate, then I can definitely recommend you this! This cake is more than enough to feed 2 people! Overall, I really had a fun time here in bayleaf skydeck, the ambiance, the view, and especially the food was sooo good! 5⭐ Would recommend!

The good part is the view however there are many places in Manila with a good view of the city, this one is a little special because it's inside the walled city. The service was horrible which is really rare for me to report in Manila. The servers mostly stayed clustered and gossiping rather than offering to take photos or even taking food orders. The appetizers soup and dinner was all served at the exact same time which tells me they all need training and I blame their manager for not educating them properly (I'm also read other people with that same review). The poor service might be due to the automatic 12% gratuity at the end of the night. The food was mostly pretty but ultimately inedible. The fish and flan were both overcooked. The beef that I had was mostly fat. The "pumpkin and truffle" soup was upsetting because it had pork in it and wasn't listed anywhere on the menu (a member at the table was actually allergic so it's good we found it before they ate it). Ultimately the experience was simply not worth it and I will not be returning, if you want a good view find almost anywhere else.

Overall, the place is 5 stars!! My plus one and I enjoyed the place. Just a bummer that when we arrived at 5pm, there were no seats available for the sunset and Manila view via roof deck side. It's as expected since time in starts at 4pm and ends at 7pm (first batch). They also have live performers that were very good! Very chill and romantic place to dine. I would recommend this place 100% We ordered Spicy Calamari, Kare-Kare, and Nachos with Salsa, plus 2 iced teas. The calamari was good, definitely a must try. Kare-Kare was superb, a must order (make sure to have bagoong), andd for the Nachos, they were a lot, plain, but a lot. Salsa was fresh (or at least i think so) refill of the Salsa would cost additional. Price wise, a bit average - above average, a bit expensive. Considering the ambience and place, I think it pulls up the value side of the expense. If there would be a chance, I will go back here and try other menu items, plus chilling out. Place - 5/5 easy Food - 4.5/5 Ambience - 5/5 (this would vary if it rains probably)

A beautiful place with panoramic views from the roof top restaurant spoiled by the worst attitude I have encountered in a long time. On arrival we were told that the roof top was closed because it had been raining, they offered us a seat in the lower restaurant but I told them I came especially for the rooftop. Then a waitress came down the stairs and said we could dine on the rooftop but we had to be gone by 19.00 pm. (This was at 16.25) that's acceptable for most people I'm sure. The rooftop was busy and we were seated. We ordered and the food was good and not expensive. On nearly finishing our main (starter and main served together without option) the waiter asked if we would like to order anything else before we paid, this was at 18.05. I must say that before, during and after our meal we felt unwelcome and rushed even if we still had time. In all what could and should be an enjoyable experience spoiled by extreme commercial pressure by the management executed by all staff. We will not be going back

Sky Deck View Bar is a gorgeous restaurant situated on the rooftop of The Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros. You have a good choice between Filipino, Asian and Western cuisine for food options, and a good choice of drinks. We had Chili Calamari for our starter, pinakbet and spicy beef & chorizo caldereta for our mains. The food was delicious, and well-priced considering the location of the restaurant! The view that you get over the city is gorgeous, and there is a great live band, which starts at 6 p.m! We suggest booking in advance, especially if you want the 7–10 p.m. seating. More seats are available for the 4–7 p.m. seating. Sky View Deck Bar is perfect for date night, but even if this is not what you’re planning for, this rooftop bar is definitely somewhere you should check out!
