Walls' Famous Friedrich Spicy Chicken — Restaurant in Manila

We’ve been enjoying this place since our college days. It’s always been a go-to for their famous chicken. So when we craved it again recently, we didn’t hesitate to order online and paid in advance as per their usual process. This was on 14, but we were later informed that they were closed until 16.

I followed up the next day to confirm the payment, not to complain. I was willing to wait, I just needed reassurance that my payment was received. But to my surprise, instead of confirming, they simply asked for my GCash number to refund the money.

Honestly, that reply felt cold. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just a little customer service, a kind response or confirmation would’ve been enough. But since it seemed like they preferred to refund rather than communicate properly, I sent my GCash and canceled the order.

It made me realize something: maybe they don’t value customers the way they used to. Sometimes, it’s not about the money, it’s about how you treat people. Good customer service could’ve made all...

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Intramuros. The chicken is perfectly cooked, and the spicy sauce is absolutely delicious—really, it’s outstanding. I also appreciate that they serve complimentary water with your meal. All of this at an affordable price, making it one of the best value meals in the area.

Seating can sometimes be a challenge in the afternoon when students flock here during lunch hours. However, the wait isn't usually long on busy days since the students come and go quickly.

Been wanting to try the Walls' Famous Spicy Chicken and it was worth the trip! The portion is big and tasty, spicy but tolerable for non-spicy eaters. We also tried the Creamy Chicken and it was good as well especially for the price. The only catch of eating here is the place since it's a literal hole in the wall food joint, there are limited seats and behind you is the road already, meaning lots of flies and stray dogs trying to join as you eat.
