I recently dined here and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite being seated by the counter, the service was subpar from the get-go. To start, we ordered two beers, which never made its way to our table throughout the entire meal. The food arrived, but it was a letdown. The Sizzling squid was anything but sizzling; it lacked the sizzle that would have added to its appeal. The crispy pork dinuguan failed to meet expectations; it was below average in both texture and flavor. The dish lacked the depth of taste that one would expect from such a classic Filipino dish. Even the grilled pork liempo, a seemingly simple dish, arrived cold, further adding to the disappointment. Overall, the food lacked flavor, and the temperature issues were pervasive throughout the meal. In conclusion, the dining experience fell short on multiple fronts. From the lackluster service to the cold and flavorless dishes, it was a disappointing outing. With some improvements in both the kitchen and service staff, this restaurant could elevate its offerings. As it stands, there's much room for improvement, and as they say, "your mom can do better."

The food: 5 Stars for sure, the food here was absolutely delicious! Definitely a place I would go to whenever I am craving some home style filipino food, I mean seriously the sisig, the bagnet soy rice, the pumpkin soup as well. Very delicious! The place: The ambiance of the place honestly is pretty nice, it isn't the biggest. I wouldn't bring a party of 10 here (maybe upstairs? havent been upstairs though) The service: The service is really good, although the size of the place being small definitely helps so they never really miss whenever you need something like water or a follow up on your order. haha anyway for sure 5 stars for this

Perfect para sa sama-samang kainan! ✔️Classic and Cozy Ambiance -Simple pero classic ang setting na nagbibigay ng “homey” na vibe habang kumakain. ✔️Affordable and Value for Money -Quality dishes with prices that won’t panghinaan ng loob ang bulsa mo. ✔️Well-loved Local Favorite -Isa sa mga pinakasikat na Filipino restos sa Marikina, kilala sa consistency at sarap ng pagkain. If you ask me what's the best restaurant in Marikina I would answer ANTONIO J. I've tried most of their food and it didn't disappoint. If you like Filipino food and you're visiting Marikina you should try it. Dishes I would recommend are Bagoong rice( this is their best seller), kare kare, they got good pancit too and if it's your birthday month they will give it to...
