This review dated Feb 10 2022. I'd give it about 3 and a half stars actually. At its new location along katipunan Ave they are accepting dine in customers. As the name implies they serve cholesterol rich food and the dish combinations were given interesting names such as heart attack triple bypass etc. Well it's location across SDS medical center is ideal if you do experience a heart attack while eating their food. I ordered the triple bypass. You can refer to the Pic of the menu I'm posting with this review. Price were average with my meal costing 170 pesos. A coke solo is 25. Orders came really fast so presumably all were cooked and just waiting. In a bowl was an adequate amount of rice topped with chicken skin which was coated with a great amount of starch, chicharon bulaklak which was not crispy but actually tough, and bagnet which was fried with starch coating. I was a bit disappointed at the taste of the bagnet. The texture detracts from the real ilocos bagnet. This one was harder to chew on. Everything is self service. You get your order from the counter. You get utensils and a glass of water from beside the counter. A quick fix for your fatty cravings but for me it will be a long time before I return. They have outdoor seating placed on their parking slot....

Ever thought of having bone marrow with rice and sizzling bulalo? Or probably a bowl of rice mixed with bagoong (fermented fish/shrimp/crab) topped with crispy bagnet and a side of freshly diced onions and tomatoes? Or you just want to eat the classic liempo? All of the food I mentioned, they have it!
The type of food they serve here will make ypu feel like you are literally having a cardiac arrest. With the amount of fats and carbs they serve on each plate you might want to order a drink to wash it all down properly like pineapple juice which they serve in a can.
The portion sizes are big and some orders have unlimited rice which you can go to the counter and request for the rice which they will serve you in a bowl. As for their desserts the best one would be the "Nagkanda Leche-leche" Which is a cpmbination of leche flan, corn, black gulaman, and black pearls. This dessert is so good that it balances out all the savory flavors.
Overall it was great experience and I would definitely...
Read moreFast turnover of diners in this branch on a Sunday. My brother has been yearning to eat crispy pata here since it is often mentioned on Facebook. So we ordered the CPR, a catchy description for the mound of delicious deboned crispy pata on top of flavorful fried rice. Thank God there were no overfried pieces that turn dry and tastes like cardboard. The pork was tender and moist while the sweetish dip with chopped aromatics is a house blend. I must say that the free broth had lots of umami flavor. Was that star anise and some marrow I tasted? It was so good even if was no longer hot.
It's purely self-serve which is great. The water dispenser comes in cold and hot settings and ice available on the side. No condiments are found per table.
I'll try the sizzling squid meal after I've recovered from the artery-clogging goodness of our satisfying meal.
I love the minimalist interiors in black and yellow. How's that for visual impact? Plates and bowls are...
