🍽️ Even ChatGPT says it’s one of Marikina’s top restos and I totally agree. ❤☺️
If you’re looking for a place in Marikina that has good food, great coffee, and even greater service, this is it. Even ChatGPT recommends Miguel & Maria as one of the top, most-loved restos in the city, and honestly, it deserves every bit of that hype.
This is one of the few restaurants I’ll always go back to. If you’re ever stuck wondering where to eat in Marikina, you’ll never go wrong with this spot. It’s consistent, every single time.
💸 Price: Affordable 🌟 🏡 Ambience: Cozy, warm, and inviting 🌟 👨🍳 Service: Great 🌟
🍖 Food: Big servings, pretty presentation. Must-tries include their baby back ribs, buffalo wings, pasta, and pizza.
My personal favorites? Quesadilla, salad, baby back ribs, pasta (especially the Marinara!) and always, a hot or iced cup of coffee to wrap it all up. ☕
We were assisted by Rafa, who was super attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. Unlike other places where staff avoid eye contact or rush past requests, the team here always smiles, engages, and makes sure you’re well taken care of. That alone sets Miguel & Maria apart.
💬 I’ve celebrated some of my most meaningful family moments here, and not once have I been disappointed. You know how some places lose their charm over time? This one never has. From food to service to atmosphere, Miguel & Maria always gets it right.
✨ Tip: It’s often full (sometimes booked for events), so check their socials...
Read moreMiguel and Maria is a gem in a haystack for us. The owners must have been seasoned veterans in the restaurant business for the restaurant brings fresh vibes on the dining experience. First, the place is instagramable and its interior design brings posh and prestige to the overall dining experience. Contrary to the aesthetics of the resto the pricing is very affordable with moderate to large portions for its price which will definitely fill you up. The mini bakery on the side of the restaurant called Constancia brings about an aura of authenticity from one small photo of a smiling grandma. Which to me speaks volumes when I tasted their food. The cookies are a treat from the Brookie to the variety of selections for their cookies and the bibingka and puto bumbong shows the owners creativity and authenticity. The ensaymada might have been lack luster compared to the famous Mary Grace ensaymada but their ensaymada could stand on its own. As for the food it is a well balanced menu of Western/ Filipino fusion of food. the dishes although I might have forgotten the names that are must tries. I will upload it together with this review. Overall Miguel and Maria brings the aura of Prestige and premium dining experience with a fraction of the price. I am hopeful that this restaurant becomes a franchise...
Read moreNot good. I was driven away because I wanted to have a late breakfast at 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday. The two waiters told me that their serving time for breakfast is already over although their signboard outside proclaims that they are serving breakfast at 7 a.m. Nevertheless, I told them its alright to have an early lunch but they told me they serve lunch at 11:30 am and I have to leave because they still have to prepare. I replied so you are driving a customer away? the waiter the retorted eh ilan ba kayo sir although I am just by myself....I cannot understand why they have to send me away just be cause it is between breakfast and lunch???? Di ko makita yung reason why they cannot serve early lunch at 1030 am? When you say you serve breakfast at 7 am it means you serve it starting at 7am until closing time. I know their food I have tried it once and it is not really that something that is good for a Michellin star pero ok. but the attitude of the staff that manned it on November 5, 2017 at 1030 am ia the worse! Please save your self from embarrasment do not even dare to enter...
