I recently found out that they have their own restaurant and was curious to try it since I was their customer when they were supplying salmon in farmer’s market cubao. We tried the salmon sashimi, salmon cream cheese roll, and their chicken karaage. Everything was good. Hindi tinipid yung salmon sa rolls. The place was also nice, and the service was also good. Medyo matagal lang serving time considering 2 tables lang kami nun but it’s alright. Another notable experience was with their employee— Edward. He was very accommodating. And when we were about to leave he also returned a 1000 bill that fell from my pocket. 😅 Overall, I will be going back whenever I’m craving for salmon sashimi. More power!

A lot of items NOT AVAILABLE. Back of house needs to communicate with servers better and know what items are not available. Prawn tempura was very doughy, mostly all batter… you can barely see and taste the shrimp. Nigiris and maki rolls are okay, but very sauce heavy. Maki with cheese came is cold, cheese was hard. Gyudon was on the sweet side, feels like your eating a dessert. The items we enjoyed were the torched nigiri and the karaage. Floors’ are slippery and our table kept rotating. Staff seemed lazy and rushing to go home. We came in and just sat ourselves, had to wait for awhile before they handed us the menu. NOT worth coming back.

Finally, a decent sushi spot that doesn't only serve crabstick rolls and without having to go all the way to BGC. It's a little pricey for the Philippines but average in Canada or the US. The arcade machine was a nice touch as it brought back many fond memories from my teenage years. The only issue is accessibility since there are no elevators and only stairs to their establishment. Parking, too, is limited. However, I would recommend this place and will be returning.

We tried their chicken karaage, california maki, spam kimchi musubi, and salmon tartare crispy rice. The food was fine except for the tonkatsu sauce on the california maki (which I wish they just served on the side for those who prefer their maki without a sweet sauce on it), uneven pieces of salmon in the tartare, AND a big chunk of rock salt in the musubi. The musubi was too big for my daughter so she "deconstructed" it. When she was almost done, she saw a small piece left on the plate that looked like glass or plastic. We told the server about it and they took her plate to the kitchen. When I asked what it was, they said it was rock salt.

There were only about four tables being served when we were there but they took a while to bring back the change and receipt. We just left without getting the change (a little over 50 pesos) and the receipt.

PROS: Friendly staff, prompt table service, affordable price CONS: Dubious piece of "salt",...

I've been seeing JAAM in social media for years, so I'm really glad they finally opened a branch in Marikina.

Food exceeded my expectations. We had Gyudon, Sashimi, and the Spicy Tuna Maki, and everything was excellent. Sashimi was fresh, the gyudon was a bit different than your usual but it was a perfect balance between savory and sweet, and the spicy tuna maki had huge servings!

Serving time for the sashimi and the maki was around 10 minutes (they were served later than the gyudon, surprisingly), but I personally think that's acceptable. Place was new, as well, so it's still very clean. Hopefully the cleanliness can be maintained :)

Overall, I'm happy to find a new Japanese restaurant I can go to...
