Sumo Niku — Restaurant in Marikina

I went here on June 2, 2023 for dinner at 730pm. We were told that black pepper pork belly, pork belly with teriyaki sauce, us premium beef with teriyaki sauce and US marinated beef are no longer available. I told them it was fine. We waited for 30 minutes. While waiting the staff informed us that more items are no longer available. I asked what are they and they said all the pork. They made us wait 30 minutes. They should have no longer accepted customers in the wait list if they no longer have stocks. I own 3 restaurants and this never happend to my customers. This is the worse...

the food is great,, japanese inspired flavours with a hint of korean (kimchi , spicy chicken, spicy beef)

the service is great ( this time we came in during opening hour,, 11 am)

our personal favourites ( more than 15 times in this resto ) ham, wagyu cubes, thin sliced beef.. i recently discovered how good their chicken was ( for those on protein requirements their chicken is a must try..

the only bad thing today was rice,, i really though it was a reheated rice...

Masarap ang mga pagkain sa Sumo Niku.. Halos Tuwing cravings namin Ito ang Lagi namin pinupunatahan. Almost 2 yrs na Kami kumakain sa Sumo Niku Marikina Branch.Pero Lately napaka unprofessional Ng isang crew! 1st offense niya samin.. Last week ( August 14, 2024 Nag order Kami ng B1 4 last order ( wlang sauce) Tpos binigay samin may sauce.. nagalit Yung isang babaeng crew. Nagdadabog bigla pag dating sa counter.. pagkapalit Ng order namin. Tama ba Yun? So pinalagpas namin. Another week August 21, 2024 bumalik Kami Kasi birthday Ng anak ko.. so tapos na Kami kumain.. magbabayad na Kami.. Siya Parin na tapat samin na Crew, (Yung ma attitude parin na babae) Sabi wait Daw, meron nag bayad na isang customer. Gcash ginamit.. nilapitan niya tpos Pina scan nila dun sa scanner nila. So Sabi ko ako din Gcash.. Sabi ba nmn sakin, punta po kayo sa Counter dun po mag bayad..

Ano Ka te? May favouritism sa customer niyo? Yung isang customer nilapitan mo Kasi magbabayad thru gcash tpos Kami, papalapitin mo sa counter? Napaka unprofessional Na Crew!!
