Max's Restaurant — Restaurant in Muntinlupa

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was packed, but the waiting line moved quickly. It would have been even faster if there were enough staff to clean tables and assist customers. There were several free tables that needed cleaning, and if they had been cleaned promptly, there wouldn't have been a waiting list.

We ordered their best-seller, Kare-Kare, but it didn't live up to its reputation. We chose the all-beef version, but it contained more beef tripe than actual meat. It was served in a bowl that should have had a candle underneath to keep it hot, but there was no candle, so the Kare-Kare became greasy shortly after being served. The beef was chewy and tough, needing more cooking time.

We also ordered a large platter of plain rice, but it was undercooked and hard to chew. The only highlight of our meal was the sizzling tofu, which is my favorite and did not disappoint.

The staff were clearly overwhelmed, with many customers complaining about delays in getting water, tissues, and even the bill. While I usually enjoy eating at Max's, this particular branch was disappointing, especially during busy times. I wouldn't recommend dining here when...

Still the same classic and awesome Max's restaurant. The food here is a better experience than most Max's. The service is amazing better than most Max's we were served well. We just had problems with waiting for things to arrive on time since waiters and waitresses were doing multiple things at once. it's a great talent but it could use some more waiters to help out with the serving. but everything else here is outstanding! The atmosphere is awesome! no bugs, not too hot, music not too loud, toilet was clean, very very clean seats and tables, and parking was okay, it's situated in a gas station anyway.

Things are great here, just needs some more waiters/waitresses!

Food can't say anything good about it. It's bland and sometimes it's overcooked, and the burger that we ordered was burnt. It can be better. Service is quite good but serving is too slow. The crew told us that Everything will be served in 15 mins and they served our food for 35 mins. The atmosphere is too cramped inside. Last Black friday we had to take our lunch here and Because the space was too small our family needed to compress while eating just to fit our number. I think we were 18 people...
