Feliciana — Restaurant in Naga

I ordered their expensive crispy pata kare kare expecting I would get what I paid for but it was a waste of my money. Some part of the skin were not crispy at all and really chewy, meat and fat was tough as a rubber. I think bob marlin’s crispy pata is the best in the game, their fat is so tender and soft, meat is also tender and all skin were crispy unlike feliciana’s crispy pata kare kare. Looks like they did not boil the meat that well or did not fry that well. They also charge you an extra 55 pesos for take out as they said they use a “special tray” for it. I was just shocked. Their kare kare sauce was ok, it was not that bad nor superb. Serving was also small, it was one of the smallest crispy pata I saw. Plus you can’t eat 40% of it because of the meat’s toughness.

I came in the restaurant with just my house clothes, nobody assisted me or even greeted my when I came in, but when I ordered the food they started to be polite and even opened the door for me when I left. But I hope they treat customers the same no matter what they wear or look.

Atmosphere is great, it really gives you the filipino vibes.

I was looking forward to order the steak next time but I am just scared to spend a huge amount of money again on this restaurant and get...

Exceptional food! Grabe ang sarap i gatekeep ng restaurant na to. From their beef salpicao to fried chicken and fries until the dessert five stars! The beef salpicao goes with a toasted bread (not sure what they call it) was perfect! You can order it with a rice but just dipping the bread on the salpicao sauce is heaven. I dont know what they put in their fried but it was sooo good. Friend chicken tastes very homey. Masarap din sabaw nila i think we ordered tuna belly. Di makati yung fish and hindi overcooked yung vegetables.

But the star for me was the dessert. Cassave pudding was the best! Worth it siya ₱265.

Cons they don’t apply PWD discount properly. 3 kaming meron and the discount was not properly applied so medyo na off kami doon. Though they have card for payments.

Food was good. Terrific. But service was suuupeer sloooow. And you will not enioy the food completely as they will bring them one.by.one. with at least 10-15 mins interval each. Kahit pakiusapan na sabay-sabay ilabas. By the time the next food arrives, the previous one delivered will be as cold as the facial expression of the waitresses who gives incoherrent answers whenever asked as to when the other food...
