05/27/25. SBMA Korean🇰🇷 Restaurant with Korean Chef!

SBMA or Subic in general is a regular vacation destination for us. And Ohnue is our top Korean resto while in SBMA.

GOOD: Through the years, the taste, serving size and serving time of the 3 dishes we always order has remained consistent 고등어 godeung-eo or Grilled Mackarel is moist and umami rich. It's bones are soft enough to be eaten too. sundubu-jjigae 김치순두부찌개 or Soft Tofu Stew is hot, spicy and filling. Bibimbap is a flavorful and visually appetizing Korean rice bowl dish, filled with vibrant vegetables and savory beef. Their complimentary banchan side dishes change from time to time but are consistently good! Must mention is the high quality and delicious steamed rice that accompanies most of their dishes.

I seldom rate 5 stars but Ohnue has proved it's worth...

I live in SBMA, weekly we go one dinner in this Korean Restaurant. unlimited side dishes usually two round can make you FULL. wait ? the main dishes just serve... I like most is the Bimbimbomp with Spicy source. This is my first time dining at this restaurant. I was really looking forward to their dishes, but after finishing, I felt a bit disappointed. The soup for the hotpot tasted like soy sauce, and I'm not sure what kind of broth it was. The cold noodles tasted quite ordinary, with no special impression.
