I had breakfast at Jewel Cafe & Restaurant and treated myself to Eggs Benedict. Only a couple of places in Barretto serve Eggs Benedict and I have had them all. I think the best around are here at Jewel. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the sauce was creamy and rich, also just perfect! I had the bacon eggs benedict but, of course, the more traditional dish with ham is also available. One unique dish Jewel has is Eggs Benedict lightly breaded. Try this for something different. One of the best things about the Eggs Benedict is that it is only P129! That's not a misprint, it really is only P129. I had French Toast on the side for only P99. All in all, a great breakfast at an amazing value. The chicken Burger is excellent and another good value at P129. Finish up with a slice of Chocolate Cake and a big cup of Brewed...

Kudos to the Dutch owner, Pascal and the wife, who absolutely attends to details on their entrees. They showcase quality ingredients, taste and presentation.

It was amazing to get to know the owners who cares about their customers. We eventually became friends and without fail, we make sure we visit this place everytime we come around in Subic.

Our favorite things to order are Texas sticks, Fillet Mignon, Kare- kare and their Tocino is superb. Desserts are amazing. I could go on and on about their menu. To make the story short, everything is great and good-priced.
