Sit-n-Bull : visit August 2025 x2 Its been about 6yrs. Since I have been back here to Olongapo, decided to drop in to Sit-n-Bull for small dinner. Was an ok atmosphere, with many colorful and blinking (attempt at fire/candles) lights. First visit staff was friendly and owner made his rounds to all tables checking on patrons. Sit-n-Bull has a very big menu offering a variety of foods (though a lot of items “not available”). I went specifically for the Mexican this visit. Had the “crunchy” chicken tacos. The tacos over all were ok, the shells were very fresh and nicely crunchy, the chicken was bland and dry (I believe/think it was boiled?). Came decently “dressed” with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and a side of red sauce. Personally prefer salsa Verde not offered (Green chili sauce) with chicken and fish but the red sauce was tangy and ok. I returned the next evening to try something different and give a second chance. This time staff and owner were not so attentive. There were a few customers but staff was not busy and on their phones at the counter while the owner just looked on. I came in and sat down, the staff and owner looked at me but did not even acknowledge. Took about 10 min. for a young lady to come over and present herself on the border of rude. ??? what had changed in 24 hrs.? Again a lot of items on the menu “NOT AVAILABLE”, ??? then why have them on the menu? At least have he curtesy to have items “not available” covered in redacted tape. Or just remove from menu if not offering anymore! This time had the chili beef quesadilla, but.. there was no beef, only some cheese and salsa. When I asked the waitress if the beef was separate coming as a side, she said “no that’s it”, asked to see the owner but he did not find the time to address the concerns I had. Over all Sit-n-Bull, NOT worth it, plenty of options with better service and menu options to accommodate the consumer. Very surprising how a Oklahoma boy, cant find beef. Better restaurants out there my advise is use them and steer clear of this undeserving...
Read moreLast night I arrived at Sit m bulls at 730 where I was met with Ron the owner of sit n bulls resturant. On this night I decided to approach my meal in a entirely different way. Now when you go into a restaurant and you want to go straight to one of the best meals you ask management if you wanted to eat something what would you eat? Ron told me he loves the chicken Cordon Blue so I went after it. I never even looked at the menu I just went in blindly just to see how everything was going to play out. Ok I got my meal and it looked very delicious but I'd like to examine each component of this dish . The bread wasnt too heavy and toasted just right and I used it as a tool to soak up the marinara sauce as I began to dig into my meal.I cut into the meal and you'll be able to indacate if the mozzoralla cheese is quality or not. The mozzarella cheese was just right and was like the cheese in America. Now for the marinara sauce was pure Italian tasting so much that at times I felt like it could have really made a great pizza. As I made my way dow thru my meal one of the most crushual components is the pasta at the bottom. The pasta coplamentend this meal perfectly. Every part of this meal really came together making it a must try if you ever come to sit n bulls. One last issue once you get down to the bottom of your meal I was looking for a waterie residue to see if there where frozen ingredients and there wasnt any. When I got my bill for my meal it was only 340 php and the taste and quality of this meal exceeded the price easily. Thanks Ron for a fun and friendly food experience and I'll be back tomorrow for the western bacon cheeseburger that I loved so much on...
Read moreMenu is extensive, variety of fare from Local dishes to Mexican and Italian. Recently just found out that Pizzas are not available until after 4 pm so keep that in mind. They used to have Dr Pepper as one of the soft drink choices, but I no longer see it on the menu and when asked, its not available. So that confirms it. Servers are satisfactory in taking care of the customers, CR is overwhelmingly over loaded with those urinal cakes or clorox rocks, not sure what it is. Hard to breathe when you enter, so take care of your business in there quickly. Dessert selection is fancy considering the locale...I do like that Carrot cake is one of the choices, my favorite! Parking aint happening so don't bother. I have a tough time squeezing in on a motorbike. But that is usually the case throughout Barrio Barretto. Overall satisfied and will return to try the rest of...
