a hidden gem here in subic bay. if you’re looking for a place that has great ambience, serene, and of course amazing food, i highly recommend segara spices—restaurant inside of segara villas.
one of my go-to orders here will always be the por pia, hawaiian pizza, and their chicken adobo (wasn’t able to take a pic, bc we were too hungry 😆)
the por pia is a great starter—crunchy, filling, and tasty. the hawaiian pizza, on the other hand, was really really good. a must order i must say. i love how they used roti as their dough. the crust was nice and thin, idk how else to explain it, but it’s really one of the best pizza’s i’ve ever tried. and the adobo, delicious and tender.
for dessert, they recommended mango sticky rice and frozen brazo, but we opted to try their brazo as it is one of their best sellers. and omgg, it did not disappoint. it basically has 4 layers—graham crust, vanilla frozen ice cream, sweet custard layer, and a torched fluffy egg white on top. it was the best.
we also had breakfast here, and i gotta say—their champorado from the breakfast buffet… tasted like heaven. add in lots of milk, and it’s the perfect breakfast. or merienda too.
overall, when it comes to the service, food, and ambience, segara spices is the place that i’ll keep coming back to here in subic. already can’t wait for my next visit to try their...

Read moreWent here last May 11, for mother’s day lunch, and had high hopes due to its good ratings from previous guests. But then we got nothing but disappointments - come to think that the tables are not fully occupied, only about 3 tables were occupied when we arrived.
Food is served late and the menu is not even complete from the start. They offered last 1 order of fried chicken for our sick companion and after 40mins found out that it’s not anymore available.
We ordered bulalo that is too salty, and pinakbet with too much bagoong, making it even saltier. Bistek tagalog is not appetizing at all.
Hope they will improve the service, and food quality, the same thing they did with the aesthetic of the place.
Price is too expensive as well, offering 1 cup of rice for 70php + 10%...
