Visited: May 21, 2022 3 pm Parking: Plenty of Spots Left. Arrived and park immediately Restaurant: Clean, well air-conditioned and sufficient lighting. Food: there steak was a letdown. Different from the first time I went there to eat. PORK, Soup and chicken though were great.

Story time: My family went to Meat house to experience quality food. Excited and hungry as we entered the restaurant. Inside we were immediately seated. Then after deciding what to order waited in line for about 4-5 minutes before it was my turn to order. The staff took my order efficiently and also answered my queries regarding some changes in my order.

After, we waited like everyone else but this is where our experience turned south. The waiting time for our order was almost 1 hour ( 1 rib eye steak, 1 topsirloin steak, 1 Angus beef, 1 meat platter P2, 1 mushroom soup, 1 the bomb which I think was potato and cream sauce). We ordered Medium rare for the steak which came out evenly cooked. It was also very thin which makes it not worth it for the price. It was not seasoned. Needed to pour the gravy for it to have a resemblance of some taste. The soup was delicious and satisfying despite the small portion. The appetizer the bomb was too creamy and not well seasoned. The platter was the only dish that saved the experience as it was...

Its more of a steak house or restaurant rather than the cafe branding it wants to be. Meat Plus is the go-to for a steak meal in Clark for years. Huge restaurant with an equally huge parking lot as most of the stores nearby are already closed. No security guard or parking assist personnel present. Considerable waiting time to get a seat during meal time especially with large groups. Counter ordering with set steak meals on their menu. But another option to elevate your meal is to select the cuts you want from the display chiller. The meat selection and quality is way better. Medium Rare is the way to go with doneness of the choice meat and cuts but not everyone wanst to see a little red in their meat. Cooking charge is added to your bill. Service is quite fast and efficient. Dining area during peak is like a busy mess hall with large groups dining together. Goes to show how the "Must-Eat when in Clark" image is doing so well for Meat Plus. The "cafe" part is a misnomer. Nobody wants to come here for coffee... its all about savoring every juicy bite of a perfectly grilled steak. Ordering coffee and pastries here is a big...

Ok let me say first that I make it a point to eat here every time I'm in subic and I order their ribeye and mushroom soup all the rime. Last Saturday was different. An hour after the meal I wondered why my bladder didn't feel full even after I drank 3 glasses of water and can of coke. Two hours later my stomach felt queasy and 3 hours later I felt so tired and was rundown and had no appetite for anything. Went straight to bed and when I finally woke up I found out I had the worst watery diarrhea. I am not saying what I ate did it because everything was hot when it got to me and I got water from the dispenser. The most likely culprit is the tube ice in my glass. Mind you this is not the first time the ice did it. Diarrhea also happened when we went to Jollibee San Fernando (long time ago) and little Johns in Baguio (few years back). All I'm saying is the management should really be careful of where they get their ice and how it is handled. I will still eat here but maybe next time I'll skip the ice. Other than that it's also possible that the can of the coke I drank could have been contaminated...

If I can be more specific, my rating for Meat Plus would be 3.5. One of the most popular restaurants in Subic, Meat Plus offers a range of affordable food choices that carnivores would like. I ordered the salpicao and wild mushroom soup. The salpicao was alright, nothing really special tbh. The meat was soft but I think it lacked juiciness. The soup was also very ordinary, didn’t taste fresh and gave an “instant soup” taste. There also wasn’t bits and pieces of mushrooms in the soup. I also had some banana split and a taste of my cousin’s the bomb and thought both were good. The restaurant was clean, has a lot of space for diners (it can be full during weekends and peak hours though), and there is a lot of parking available however, their restroom needs improvement. It was dirty when we came and I think some renovation would be good.

This is my family’s go-to place to eat in SBMA. It’s been around for 30 or so years so the vibes feel very OG, if you know what I mean. My go-to order is their beef belly. So tender and I love the sauce. Their ribs are tasty. I love their sets that come with a side of soup and veggies. Their apple pie is great, of course. Their pizza is actually not that bad, as well. We enjoyed it very much. Their pastas are so-and-so. Overall, we love it. It’s a great place for family to come together and eat. They are wheelchair accessible. We often sit outside now because we have dogs with us. Service is quick and efficient and the staff are nice.
