Veranda by Cocolime offers that relaxing weekend vibe, especially after attending mass. They emit that familial aura you'll look for during a get together. But even if you'll go here as a couple, it is really a nice place to just sit and dine. Interior: 10/10 Interior looks modern, a bit mix of asian and western (but more asian), and it is neat. It somehow looks like upgraded version of Max's, or it's more relaxing version. Windows are facing the park, if you need "greeneries", and the interior is nude, taupe color, just right for the eyes. Food: 8/10 We only tried their chicken sisig, it taste leaning on sweeter side, not what we expect for sisig as we have Max's as benchmark, but it's good actually, we just have preference. Their buko pandan dessert is a must, it's in the right blend of sweetess and tingly, really a Pinoy classic dessert. Their halo-halo is okay, it's normal, but it is behind Max's, Kuya J's, and of course Bebang's. Staff: 9/10 Staffs are friendly and accommodating, still lacking something to make it a whole, homey feeling, but they are great never the less. Overall, it's still a 5

Love that they have half rice option in their menu. Hope they include brown rice next time as a healthier choice specially to diabetics. The chicken sisig is good. I didn't like the chicken inasal. It doesn't smell good. It smelled a little off for me the moment it was served. So we ordered beef ampalaya, bangus belly sinigang, inasal, calamares, and chicken sisig. The mango shake is too sweet. Hope they didn't add sugar. Sinigang is ok. Calamares is ok but didn't like the dip. Service is great and the place looks great as well.

This is our family’s go-to restaurant for value-for-money Filipino dishes. Place: Has a neutral color scheme that is pleasing to the eyes. Not too overpowering chic interiors. They have clean comfort rooms. They also have a semi-enclosed area should you need to hold a somewhat private gathering. Food: For groups, you should try their set meals (good for 10 persons). Must try is their beef pochero soup and kare kare. Parking: they have ample parking slots.

If it would be noon time for lunch, I'd drive the extra distance to Veranda whenever I'm in the Subic area. Service is prompt, servings are generous.. your choice of food will surely satisfy your taste buds; I find their local menu dishes excellent and priced very affordable... and, by the way.. you don't get to be annoyed with awful unwanted cluttering sounds typical of a noisy dining area and by rowdy diners. It's definitely your place for good tasty inexpensive food, and comfortable...
