I’ve travelled to many places in Asia, Europe, Caribbean, South and North America. I’m here in Zambales to visit family and friends. We stopped by here last night to have a sit down dinner and thought we’d give it a try to see if their food is as good as it looks on their outside banner. I ordered an appetizer, calamari was over cooked, tasted very salty and felt like I was chewing on a rubber. I also ordered a steamed lobster and it was over cooked. Should be soft and tender. It didn’t taste good at all. The salad that came with It was dry too. My friend and mother ordered a different lobster dish dish and it was very salty too! Every lobster dish was over priced and unfortunately do not taste good. My mother and friend ended up not eating their dish. I do not recommend the atmosphere either. There was a white man who asked for our SUV to be moved out and yelled at the parking attendant for not bothering us to cause a scene because we were having dinner. The white man said he would always park on the same spot each time he’d go to this place. We were also a customer and foreigner like himself. He expressed a very bad behavior to be a foreigner himself and foolishly took his anger out to the parking attendant for a non-sense space. I think this white man should go back to his own country and see if his own people would treat him right. A very disappointing place to be and terrible food. To the parking attendant, kudos to you for being calm and collected during your duty. I’m sorry that you have experienced such bad behavior from the white man. Overall, In my opinion, I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or...
Read moreI am currently staying at Palm Tree resort and will be departing tomorrow. I have been a guest here about 6/7 times since they opened and I have never failed to be impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the service and the food. I have also stayed at several other local hotels but always return to Palm Tree. The restaurant serves really good food and the Sunday traditional roast is first rate. The room I am in (203) has a comfortable king size bed, patio doors leading onto a patio that overlooks the small swimming and paddling pool below, and ice cold air con. Wi-Fi for the most part was good but occasionally was slow or would drop off. I did ask reception once if they could reboot their system, which they did and within about 5-minutes it was back on. The location is perfect, straight onto the beach at the rear and in the centre of the Barretto from the main exit. There is some building work being undertaken currently but this is at the front, near the main entrance and is almost complete (even the builders were very friendly, always a "good morning" or "hello" greeting). Overall a very...

The ambiance is warm and inviting, and I loved being able to watch the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen from our table seating. It added such a unique and personal touch to the dining experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel so welcome throughout our meal.
Now, let’s talk about the food—it’s nothing short of amazing! My husband couldn’t stop raving about his American breakfast: fluffy pancakes, a perfectly cooked omelet, and crispy hash browns. Meanwhile, I opted for the traditional “Tinola,” and it was absolutely delicious—comforting, flavorful, and made with such care.
