Tartaruga's Hotel and Restaurant — Restaurant in Pagudpud

As someone who is very particular about room cleanliness, I’m truly delighted that we chose to stay at Tartarugas Hotel & Restaurant. Although I didn’t get the chance to take photos of our two rooms, both were incredibly welcoming and spotless. The interiors, furnishings, and even the bathroom were bright, cozy, and impeccably clean. Every member of the staff was exceptionally accommodating, especially Mr. Jeremiah and his wife, who were both very hands-on and approachable.

Tartarugas is conveniently located just a 1-2 minute walk from the Municipal Beach Park.

I was pleasantly surprised that our nightly rate already included a delicious complimentary breakfast.

All these wonderful experiences made it difficult for us to leave Saud, even though it’s already our fourth visit.

(+) |* Super friendly staff: very accommodating, always offering to help |* Immaculately clean rooms: the facilities/rooms looked recently renovated, and the room we stayed in was spotless clean. Hot shower is always a blessing after a long drive||(-)|* Whilst Saud beach is a splendid almost white sand picturesque beach and is only a literal one minute walk from the resort, you have to use the local government-owned beach front for a very minimal fee. And since the resort has no 'beach front' area of its own, you have to bring your own towels and lounge chairs if you want to hang in the beach for hours|* The resort's in-house resto menu was impressive, but most were not available at the time of our visit. Those that we had were cooked deliciously(!) but we found the pricing a but steep (although resto pricing seems to be pricey in general...
