My recent dining experience at this establishment was significantly below expectations, particularly given its high ratings and price point.
While I appreciate the effort to prepare some dishes from scratch, the majority of the food was overpriced and underwhelming. The sisig, priced at 600 pesos, was particularly disappointing, failing to meet the quality standards of even a modest 50-peso street food version.
Furthermore, the presence of battalions of flies, some of which landed on our food and drinks, raised serious concerns about hygiene.
The service was also subpar. Staff members appeared more focused on socializing amongst themselves than attending to patrons. This was exemplified by a puddle on the floor that was left unattended, creating a slip hazard for my family.
Overall, the experience was unacceptable for a restaurant of this supposed caliber and price range.

Dinner: I really liked their Bao dishes (ordered Pork Humba). Their quinoa salad could use more seasoning, but I was happy with the amount of veggies in it.
Dessert: Halo-halo was delicious but pricey. I liked the mango mochi, but my friends didn't.
Cocktail: My long island iced tea was strong; their happy hour is not kidding. I liked the amaretto sour better.
Breakfast: I liked the fullness of my plate, I had Filipino breakfast of chorizo and smoked milkfish. Taste was just okay.
Service: Friendly servers. At dinner, our orders arrived within acceptable time. At breakfast, we waited around 45-60 minutes after the time we requested it.
Atmosphere: The entire place is very quiet and serene. I loved the interior of the restaurant; you can choose how much lighting you want...

Maybe they should work more at being consistent when in-house and visiting guests flock in. The complimentary breakfasts we had for two days tasted great. More on the salty side but then we had mostly Filipino breakfast. The Sikwate was very rich and comforting. We also had dinner twice and during those times, the restaurant was not busy. The dishes were seasoned and presented well. All pasta dishes were al dente. Ingredients were plentiful and of...
