Onami — Restaurant in Panglao

In the big cities you expect to find quality restaurants...but here in the Province a great quality restaurant can be difficult to find...not the case with Onami Japanese Restaurant! Awesome food, great, friendly and professional staff, surrounded by a comfortable environment conveniently tucked away inside the MOADTO Strip Mall in Barangay Doljo, Panglao Island, Bohol.

I will definately dine here again and again. The food was well prepared and attractively presented. The taste was absolutely awesome with genuine traditional and authentic Japanese cuisine flavors. And the food was served hot and fresh without a long wait.

Appetizers, main dishes, desserts and beverages all get high...

Very friendly staff and cute restaurant. Food was pretty decent, my pork was a little bit chewy and husband’s oyakudon didn’t have a lot of meat. But food was pretty decent. I accidentally cracked a cup I was drinking from and the restaurant charged me 100 pesos for it. I was very shocked as I never have experienced something like being charged for a broken dish before. It made me feel like I was doing a favor to come try their restaurant and the policy for that is very strict, so it definitely made me have a negative view. We inquire about reserving a private function room and got an email regarding prices. As we are about to place and confirm our reservation after 24hrs (since we need to compare with other venues) they told us that they will send us a new price which the venue will now have a charge of 25k and a 15k consumable for food where before we just need to consume 15k for food with free venue. Reason is that they found out that Modala Hotel charges for the venue and they decided to copy them as well. Thats how they said it in our phone conversation and even email.
