DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE — NOT RECOMMENDED

Based on the price range and location, I expected the food quality to be at least comparable to Mary Grace. The dishes looked appetizing in the photos, so I ordered 1 beef kare-kare and 1 chicken galantine.

The meal started with 2 complimentary pieces of bread, which my kid enjoyed. Then came the kare-kare. At first glance, I was skeptical because from the color alone you could tell they didn’t use the key ingredient, atsuete. Still, I gave it a try. OMG, it tasted like they used instant mix with MSG (not Mama Sita’s, but maybe Knorr or just MSG with cornstarch). The beef wasn’t cooked well either. I was hungry, so we consumed only most of the kare-kare sauce and vegetables, then moved on hoping the chicken galantine would be better.

Unfortunately, the chicken galantine was completely bland. We only tasted it and left it uneaten. In fact, both dishes were so disappointing that we ended up leaving them at the restaurant. I informed the staff about these issues. They gave us a 20% discount charging us ₱1,900. In my view, the only items justifiable for charging were the 2 orders of rice and 1 can of soda.

The biggest disappointment is the gap between the premium image and the actual food. The restaurant is priced and presented as high-quality, but the dishes do not match that standard. At ₱1,900, it’s fair to expect authentic and well-prepared food, yet what we received fell far short making this place hard...

Went for breakfast today, Sat. We were the only ones in the resto. Ambience was great and parking staff and one waiter were polite. We ordered 2 big breakfast plates and a strawberry waffle. Coffee and soft rolls w butter were served first and we enjoyed them. However, our big plates took too long to be served- almost 45 min. We ended up having to rush our meal as we were running late for our appoitnment. As soon as the plates were served, we asked for the bill so we can leave immediately after eating. We were almost done eating and no bill came so we had to follow up again. When my credit card was returned to me after paying, there was no receipt, only the card voucher copy was given so we had to wait again for the OR. We were looking forward to a nice breakfast experience and left disappointed. Pricing was not cheap either so I was hoping that they can at least issue a POS generated receipt. Service can still be improved and they can be more attentive to customers' needs specially if there were no other diners...

Went here for an early dinner with my family. Limited parking space on the front. Ambiance is good clean and comfortable. We ordered a couple of their dishes which we find overwhelming. Their serving here is really big imagine their kids meal - spaghetti or the 2 PC chicken can be shared for 2 adults! Even their regular orders have big servings which is a good thing if you're a big eater or will really need to share. They also serve complementary bread with butter. We ordered their Chorizo Frito, Gambas Al Ajillo, Tenderloin Beef Salpicao, Crackling Pork Belly, Baked Chicken in Garlic cloves and the Salted Egg Shrimp Pasta. Ube cake and coffee for dessert. All have generous servings which we didn't finished so we have to bring the left overs home. Overall food taste is good. Some are great and some just OK.
