I've been through a lot of Mang Inasal restaurants in the South but this one might the most congested I've ever been yet. Your food is your typical Mang Inasal (MI) menu with relatively the same price as most MI restaurants, but if you're working or residing in either the East and West Service Roads and you want to eat in an MI branch, then you have no other choice but to go here as this is the nearest and the most "accessible" MI out there. I even have to put a quotation mark on the word as both the same Service Roads are a pain in the a** to get into. The other MI in Sucat is not worth it to go to due to having traffic congestion way worse than the aforementioned routes.
As I've said before, the place is congested due to the place being small even for MI standards. The line in the cashier goes all the way outside, which results in blocking the passageway of other people roaming around the mall especially during lunchtime. My final verdict is that if you want to eat in an MI and you live or work in both the Service Roads, don't even bother, it's not worth your...
Read moreFood 9/10 They served your food well but it's not the 100% food package that they offer. If you order a meal and says it has a free soup to it they will not voluntarily come to you unless you called them as well as the servings of rice. But the chicken , molo and desserts are all fantastic.
Place 8/10 The place is not quite big but it can accommodate a big mass of customers for dine-in. But during lunch and dinner expect to wait 30 to 60 minutes to get a table for you.
Staff 7/10 Most of the staffs do not have initiative. They don't refill the condiments and sometimes you'll get a table with incomplete condiments for your food to enjoy (see in the picture). One staff accidentally bump me and I say sorry while he just walk away. But there are others who care for customers so it's a 50/50 bad and good staffs.
Summary Mang Inasal is one of the great fast food restaurant for me because of their offer especially for heavy eaters so come here if you have an empty stomach and devour their meals but be sure to have patience cause your rice is not...
Read moreI had cravings for chicken inasal around lunchtime but the queue was too long at the store and the dining area was noisy and jam packed. Wished they had a larger store knowing how popular Mang Inasal is. After munching on some waffles elsewhere to stave off my hunger I took in a movie first and then returned 3 hours later.
Luckily the lines were gone by then and I ordered their promo meal combo of chicken with rice, drink and add-on halo-halo for only P230.
Very satisfying grilled chicken taste complimented by the soy sauce, chicken oil and calamansi with the free sinigang soup too. The halo halo was packed with condiments.
Some customers were really into their meals, eating with their hands for the homey Pinoy-style experience and happily bonding with one another.
The busboys worked quickly to clean up the tables for the waiting customers and to keep the floor presentably clean given how busy the place was.
Next time I will try their palabok...
