A Bowl of Rich, Golden Comfort The aroma was intoxicating, a symphony of rich, savory notes that danced through the air. As I lifted the steaming bowl to my lips, I knew I was about to embark on a culinary journey. The star of the show was a bowl of beef curry ramen, a masterpiece that had captured my heart and palate. The broth was the soul of the dish, a velvety blend of beef and curry that was both comforting and complex. It clung to the noodles, coating them in a rich, golden sauce. The noodles themselves were perfectly cooked, with a springy texture that held up to the weight of the broth. Nestled within the broth were tender chunks of braised beef, meltingly soft and infused with the flavors of the curry. Each bite was a revelation, a harmonious blend of savory and slightly sweet. The curry itself was a masterpiece, a balance of spices that warmed the soul without overwhelming the palate. Topped with a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg, spring onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, this bowl of ramen was a symphony of flavors and textures. It was a dish that satisfied both body and soul, a true testament to the power of food...
Read moreTHIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Shefu Denz, according to Facebook, has two branches--one in Moonwalk, and the other in BF. The latter is the one we went to. That being said, here's my review:
The food: 10/10! We ordered the Emperor platter (volcano, California, and some other maki), okonomiyaki, curry ramen, beef ramen, oyakodon, salmon and tuna sashimi, and beef yakiniku. Everything was cooked in front of us, and they were absolutely delicious considering the price.
Ambience / the space: 10/10! The place is really small, so we (my family of 9) sat around the bar. We got there at around 6PM, which was opening time, so we had it to ourselves. It's really clean, and the bathroom is really nice, too.
Service: 10/10!
I'll definitely be coming back for more, this place is really bang...
Read moreNeed a quick fix for your Japanese craving? For 5 years now, Shefu Denz sits quietly along the busy road of Aguirre. My husband and I finally manage to try Shefu Denz last Sat for lunch. We were quite happy with their serving portion. The tamago and tempura were my favorite , it was well prepared and tasted good. The experience was so good, my husband requested to return the following day for lunch again. This time we ordered their maki platter while our son had their chicken teriyaki bowl. You can tell if the resto is good by their patrons. It seems most of the customers are long time suki. The space is small but cozy. It's fun watching the chefs prepare our food while waiting. Must try Japanese resto while in BF...
