Last Wednesday, during my wifes birthday, We thought of eating good Japanese food and just nearby. We found Asakusa in Feliz Mall in Marcos Hwy and we did not expecf that everything we expeirence there is Good: 1. They gave my son coloring materials and an activity page for Coloring. Not all restaurants would do that so 5 star for the best customer service 2. Food is really good at a very reasonable price. The soup was heaven and the Katsudon really tasted good. My son loved their Gyoza 3. The restroom is nice. The toilet has an automated watering system. I really dont what's that called but there

I tried the katsudon (regular instead of light) and my husband tried one of the bentos. Surprisingly, they have big servings and the foods are fairly priced. The food also tastes good and for someone who have been to Japan, I can say that it tastes authentic.

Good food and good value as it was fairly priced considering the quality and serving size. Prawns were a bit thin but tempura was cooked perfectly - it was nice and crispy outside and tender and juicy inside. California maki had tempura batter on top giving it a nice texture. It was served with extra mayo on the side as requested. Staff were courteous and very attentive. Overall a good dining experience.

We ordered the Black Tiger Prawn Tempura set (comes with rice and your choice of lemonade or iced tea), Spicy Tuna Maki, and the Beef Niku Udon.

We arrived almost at their closing time and no one was eating anymore but they still accommodated us.

The Spicy Tuna Maki was not that spicy, which could be good for those not wanting spicy food. The serving of tuna was reasonable. It was generally a good spicy tuna maki, but I’ve had better in other places.

The stand-outs were the Beef Niku Udon and the Black Tiger Prawn Tempura.

The dashi broth of the udon was light but flavorful. It had a surprising hint of butteriness in the broth. It was served with a generous amount of soft sukiyaki beef strips. The udon noodles were cooked well to get that desired udon bite. Definitely a must try for those looking for a light noodle soup to go with their meal.

The Black Tiger Prawns were huge. Definitely worth the 100 peso upgrade from the large shrimp variant they offer. Batter was nice and crispy too!

Overall, we’re very happy to have tried the restaurant. It will now be an option whenever we get cravings...
