I went in with my fiancé today to get two coffees and something to eat. The girls serving us had a hard time understanding what we were asking for. All I wanted was a large Americano coffee with some half-and-half added. At first I tried to order a latte, but she was very confused because she thought that I wanted half of the drink filled with milk or half-and-half. So I changed my order to just an Americano, add some half-and-half. She didn’t know what to do and she got a manager and the manager literally said: “We don’t do that here… we only put water in our coffee.” we walked out. I had a good dining experience at coffee bean and tea leaf for the past weeks. Tambayan ko sya. The staff are friendly, food is okay and drinks not really that great. Then just today I am collecting stamps, and this annoying ugly looking dude reprimanded me in front of the other guests for asking politely if others would be okay with helping me complete the 4 remaining stamp. Meron kasing lady who initiated to have my card stamped so the lady next to me i asked if it is okay to have my card stamped if she has no card or she is not availing the bag? I keep forgetting that CBTL offers more variety in their food than Starbucks and they taste better, too. Still not a fan of their coffee but their tea selection is also better. They have non-caffeinated teas so that'a good. This branch closes later at 11pm, 12midnight on Fridays and weekends. But you can't access the mall entrance by 9.30pm.
