Sunrise Buckets has officially won me over with its mouthwatering menu and vibrant atmosphere! I recently had the pleasure of trying their Real American Buffalo Extra Hot Chicken Sandwich, The Signature Nachos, and enjoyed a refreshing Coronita to wash it all down.
Starting with the Real American Buffalo Extra Hot Chicken Sandwich, it was a spicy masterpiece! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, generously coated in a flavorful buffalo sauce that had just the right amount of heat in my opinion. The sandwich was served on a toasted bun with lettuce and sour cream. A true delight for any spice enthusiast!
Moving on to their Signature Nachos, they were a showstopper. Loaded with BBQ powder, fresh tomatoes, sliced red onion, shredded cheese, cheese sauce, beef, and shredded chicken, and sour cream. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors! The nachos were generously portioned, making them ideal for sharing, although you may find it hard to part with any once you've tasted them.
To complete the culinary journey, I paired my meal with a Coronita, the ideal companion to the bold flavors of the chicken sandwich and nachos. The drink was served ice-cold, adding a refreshing touch that balanced the heat from the Extra Hot Chicken Sandwich.
What sets Sunrise Buckets apart is not just the incredible food but also the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience. The interior had an energetic vibe, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a lively gathering.
In conclusion, Sunrise Buckets has secured a spot as my go-to chicken wing restaurant. The Real American Buffalo Extra Hot Chicken Sandwich, Signature Nachos, and Coronita combo left me craving more. If you're a fan of bold flavors, friendly service, and a lively ambiance, look no further than Sunrise Buckets. This restaurant has truly earned its five-star...
Read moreif i could give a 3.5, I would but I can't, so I'm rounding up because the servers (although weren't the best I think one of them is new) were very kind.
Now to the food: I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich, I'm a fan of Buffalo chicken sandwiches. But I only ever had brother's burger's (4 times though). And I'd still rather have brother's burger's. The chicken in my sandwich didn't feel juicy to bite, it was kinda dry. I like Buffalo chicken sandwiches wet, and Sunrise's was dry with some sauce. Wasn't so tasty, BUT the distinct buffalo flavor was present. Might be a personal preference thing.
Sunrise buckets isn't horrible by any means, but it's not extra-ordinary either. I got the chili con carne - extra spicy but alas, twas not spice to be found in the dish 😔, the taste of the chili itself wasn't bad but it wasn't good awesome either, when I ran out of cheese it was meh...
Nothing particularly impressed (especially the fries!!), except the coffee which is Yardstick's! which is nice.
I'll probably give it another shot before I make a final verdict because I haven't had their wings, but I wouldn't eat here alone again. But I will definitely come back for the coffee if I'm in the area!
But I will be staying outside, because they play top 50 type songs which aren't my preferred songs to listen to while lounging.
Sunrise is trying to go for an American diner with some beach house / restaurant vibes which if you like that kinda thing is ok.

Read moreI usually have a pleasant experience here but today, it's my first time to feel terrible after deciding to have dinner here. First, they served me something different from what they had informed me it was. Their fish and chips are usually big but this time what I got were very small. Then I requested for salsa instead of the usual cheese with beef bits for the nachos and despite my explaining over and over that I don't eat meat, the waiter kept insisting that I eat the dip with beef. He adamantly refused to give me salsa and stated that if I wanted it I had to pay P70 for it. P70 for salsa dip which is supposed to go with the nachos I ordered in the first place. He even went on to tell me that it was their restaurant's "STRICT RULE" to never change dips that come with the food and that the customer has to pay for it if they wanted a different dip. Wow. I don't think I have ever felt more unwelcoming and unpleasant service in my life. Then they offered to replace my fish and chips and after waiting doubly long for it, it gets served to me with SOGGY FRIES. I don't understand why their service today was so nightmarish. Two of the waiters who entertained me this evening were...
