*edited - I wanna commend the manager who called & addressed my concerns from this branch. She is a top notch for putting an effort to talk to me about my experience & how they can improve better. She called twice to make sure that I pick up the call, excellent customer service & very professional in handling the customer issue. It’s a rare gesture and this branch is lucky to have her. I hope I got her name.

I’ll be happy to visit this branch again to meet her personally & thank her for the effort she puts.

The tonkatsu here is average; it's not the best—I've had better, which practically melts in my mouth—but it's quite satisfactory given the circumstances. It didn’t go well with the dry brown rice they serve. This rice, is crucial to the texture of the tonkatsu set, particularly how moist it should be and how it should be held while being eaten in chopsticks. The Oyakudon meat is fine - worth ordering. The meat is tender and not dry.

I expressed my concerns to the waiter, Alex, but he simply left without informing his manager. This was quite disappointing, or it's possible that he wasn't taught a customer service skills. He just serves, and I think he did a good job at it.

We dined at Yabu Ayala Malls Feliz and it changed and not in a good way. The last time we dined there was 2020 before covid and it was okay, the service, food, everything. But when we came back a few days ago (2/14/22), the overall feel of the place was bad. The service was not good, the katsu doesnt look like the usual Yabu Katsu, we were served with two small katsus for each plate and not the usual one big size katsu. The lighting of the place was really dark and not the usual soft and ambiance lighting. And the worst part, after dining, we felt dizzy and sleepy which was probably from the food, and we had never experienced that from our last time dining there. The waiters weren't even wearing proper uniform!!! It was overall bad service. It was very disappointing because I was really looking forward to eating there again....
