Recommend by coach at CrossFit Heiroglyph. Visited for lunch. Place was empty but staff very welcoming. We LOVED the calamansi drink (like a lime/orange hybrid) which was local and refreshing. The sampalok is tamrind and had a herbal/earthy taste and was 2 out of the 3 favourite drink to sample. Unfortunately (probably our accent) they got the order wrong and cooked an extra sandwich and chicken meal... This was serendipity because the beef sandwich was THE BEST SANDWICH I've ever had, the home cooked bread was fantastic we actually bought two rolls extra to go and we took the chicken home for tea!
