The food looked very good from the photos I saw online, so I stopped in to try it. It was as good and even better than I hoped. Some of the best food I have had in the last decade. You're sure to love the food, with the Rustic Cafes big menu of varied choices. Next day: I went back for the lunch the next day to try a Rustic burger with a Banana peanut shake. Extra good as I expected. A perfectly cooked burger with great toppings and heavy in the hand. A generous serving of grade A meat. Worth the wait for the quality. Try it, you'll be glad you did. Be sure to try the big breakfast too. If you're hungry from traveling this is the right meal. Try the Fish and Chips to experience an amazing fish dinner. The strawberry, mango & banana shake is a great choice too. The crepe is a great dessert. See the photos. The tuna sandwich and cross cut fries were excellent. If you need a batch of fries they can be ordered separately. Everything on the menu is to the same high standard. Be sure to try the Chicken Kebab, that is an excellent meal and good quantity of food. The strawberry shake is extra nice too. Try all the breakfasts, which are amazingly good. The parmasian chicken is tender and seasoned perfectly. I just tried the ribs which are not to be missed. You'll consider them among the best you ever had. The shakes for dessert are excellent and so is the...

Full Review: We were brought there "by accident" by our very nice and helpful trike driver Vincent and fell in love with the place. It's beautifully constructed, super cozy, you will feel comfy the moment you sit down.
The menu consists of a wide variety from breakfast to appetizers and main dishes of both traditional Philippine cuisine as also european kitchen. At lunch we tried the traditional Pancit Bihon which was SO good, that we just had to go back for dinner again to try more of their delicious food.
So back to Rustic Cafe and we had Calamares, Shanghai (special spring rolls), the Signature Rustic Burger and Chicken Kebab with Rice. And in all honesty, there was NOTHING wrong with any of the dishes, they were just delicious all around, very balanced spices, high quality food. And all for a price that basically is a steal.
So if you are anywhere in or near Puerto Princesa, make sure you visit Rustic Cafe. Even if you're only in transit to El Nido, Coron or any other place on Palawan, just get a trike and you will be there in no time, you won't regret it.
Thanks again to the whole team at...
Read moreThis has become my go-to-spot whenever I'm in the mood for good western cuisine here in Puerto Princesa. I've tried most of the dishes on their menu and my two favorites are the BBQ Ribs and the Chicken Kabobs. The BBQ Ribs are the best I've had anywhere and that's saying something being as I've lived in Chicago and Kansas City, both famous for their BBQ. I would describe them as sweet and succulent. Other dishes I've enjoyed here include the bacon-wrapped chicken, chicken pot pie, and roast chicken with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and stuffing. Lastly, it's difficult to find a good burger in Palawan. Their burger is the biggest and juiciest I've experienced here.
Their atmosphere could be described as quaint and charming. Owners Collin and Mary are all about the quality of your experience and as I've discovered, great conversationalists as...
