"My recent dining experience at San J Japanese restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with the warm ambiance of traditional Japanese décor and impeccable hospitality. The attention to detail and authenticity in the restaurant's atmosphere truly transported me to Japan.

The menu offered a wide array of delectable choices. The attentive service staff helped create a comfortable and welcoming dining experience, and their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests added to the overall enjoyment. The traditional tea service and the serene music further enhanced the authenticity and immersive experience.

In conclusion, dining at San J Japanese restaurant was a journey for the senses, offering an authentic taste of Japan right in the heart of the city. I look forward to returning for another memorable dining...

We only ordered a tonkotsu ramen and fruit shakes because it was past 10 p.m. and we just wanted to try it.

The ramen was kind of sweet and it had some kind of oil on it. The fruit shakes were...decent. The staffer who spilled my order on me, did not apologise, and had the audacity to roll her eyes as she walked away from me was not decent.

The staffer came back with a fruit shake, (different from my original order because she spilled the last avocado shake on me and on the floor) with the bill. She, at least, had the common sense to waive my drink from the bill.

The price of the food is the same as the ramen places in Metro Manila but the taste is...not of the same quality and so is...

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS RESTAURANT.

We had to send the sashimi back because it was served still frozen and slightly mushy.

The agedashi tofu uses regular tofu not silken tofu. Tasteless and bland.

The mixed seafood sizzler was a chopped mishmash of leftover fish and squid which we didnt finish.

The restaurant is over staffed with incompetent waiters.

We presume all the positive comments here are made by people who either have no taste, or work for the restaurant.

To top it all off, the food was overpriced, especially given the quality. Sashimi was 1500, tofu was 300 and sizzler was 300 approximately.

Please go to other restaurants. Spare yourselves...

This is the 2nd time eating their food. 1st was when we came here and ordered their food via food panda. We ordered ramen, baby backribs and maki. They are all good. 2nd was when dine in on their resto. Their shoyu ramen is great! The soup is so rich and flavorful. Ambiance of the place is great. It was quiet and clean. Staff are approachable. Food is great. We ordered ramen and ebi tempura and mango shake. Mango shake is so good. We requested not to add milk. Overall experience is good. They have a small art gallery but we were not able to enter since it's already closed. Thanks for the wonderful service and food!

I was here for lunch on New Year's Eve. This is not one of my regular spots, but most of my regular spots were closed were closed that day. Service & food were great, the beer needed ice :( I wish I was more familiar with Japanese food because the quality of their dishes is excellent & I just don't know what Japanese dishes to order. If you like Japanese food or you are a more adventurous eater than I am, definitely give this spot a try.
