A Hidden Gem in Puerto Princesa – Perfect for Families!
We stayed at Lokal Hut for just one night — and instantly wished we had stayed longer! We were travelling with two teens, and the whole family absolutely loved it.
Tucked away in the rainforest, Lokal Hut is a beautifully decorated, plant-filled retreat that feels peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. The lush greenery and thoughtful touches made it the perfect place to unwind after a day of travel.
The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, tasty, and generous.
A special thank you to Ana and Andrea, who went above and beyond to help us arrange our onward transport and an incredible Underground River tour. Their support made everything so easy, and we can’t recommend their travel assistance highly enough.
This place is a true gem — we will definitely be back, and next time we’re...
Read moreWhat a great comfy stay! Big thanks to the crew for their kindness, hospitality and making me feel part of the family! I ensed up in The Lojal Hut by accident as my initial booking was with a hotel that is under maintenance. As soon as I walked in, I felt so welcomed and so taken care of! The hotel is very cozy, so well located: 20mn walk to SM mall, 30mn to baywalk and 20mn to the airport (so by car it's even much faster). Plenty of restaurants and bars around the corner. The room was very comfy with airco and a private bathroom. The crew helped me to arrange a 4 days trip to Balabac in the very last minute, which is usually something to be done weeks/months in advance. They also arranged my transportation to El Nido. I was sinply taken care of with whatever I needed! I highly recommend staying here, you'll have a blast. Big thanks to the crew, keep doing...
Read moreWe had a wonderful stay at Ana's place. She was the kindest and sweetest soul. Unfortunately I was sick and I could not see much of Puerto Princesa, however the room was nice and the inner hall of the hotel was full with plants and an area which was very inviting to spend some time there. As my partner and I are vegan we really appreciated that we were offered vegan options for breakfast even though they are normally not on the menu and they tried it out for the first time especially for us. And it was so delicious! We were lucky to enjoy banana pancakes and tofu adobo. Also as we were headed to Cebu afterwards and there was a really bad earthquake before, Ana checked with an acquaintance of hers on what the situation was there, to guide us on whether it would be safe (in the South of Cebu). We had a wonderful time. Thank you again...
