The place was packed and the menu and pictures oh so enticing šŸ¤¤šŸ˜‹šŸ˜ Location - very convenient to where we’re staying only few minutes away walk Ambience - very fiesta type of environment. Loud crowd and there’s indoor and outdoor choice to have your meal. Menu List - what can I say, all the traditional Filipino dishes there with great and salivating pictures. Which very helpful especially for other local or foreigners that’s not familiar with the terms then they would know what to order Waiting Time for the food - didn’t that wait that Long and for what we experienced, I loved that they serve most of the dishes at the same time. We’ve ordered appetisers and all came at the same time. Then, our main dishes - only the sizzling tofu served last but just few minutes apart Quality of Food and Portion - can’t complain with the portion. Definitely great for sharing especially for the rice we’ve ordered; I think it’s too much for us even though we’re 4 people hehehe, perhaps small tummy eh... So we’ve ordered Sinuglaw Tarsilo - our fave appetiser *Sinuglaw with grilled liempo and tuna* Tinapa ni Tiburcio - great taste especially when you dipped in with the vinegar *Tinapa and salted egg wrapped in crispy lumpia wrapper* Macaraig - still one of the best. Can’t go wrong with this. They did a great job with the taste and the vinegar that comes along with it *Bituka ng manok (chicken intestines)* Adobo Rice - for us, I would say good taste however, very mild taste of adobo especially the pork strips - couldn’t taste the adobo flavour Bracken Tofu - perfect combo with rice and the bangus (milkfish) we’ve ordered. Good flavour as well *Sizzling tofu* Liwayway - I mean c’mon that giant portion, after tasted appetisers. We already knew that that this fish won’t go wrong. The flavour of garlic and freshness of the fish. Just like the flavour of milkfish we’ve expected *Daing na bangus with crispy garlic* And the sansrival - slice of cake for the bday boy. A great sweets to end your meal over great company and restaurant. Staff - very welcoming and helpful. Always ready to assist and very polite as well. Overall; very happy tummy, satisfied, great flavour and awesome Place. No doubt - please have a visit this restaurant and tell me if you’ve the same experience as I do šŸ‘šŸ˜šŸ˜

It was dinner with family here at Crisostomo to celebrate 2 birthdays. We made a reservation because we were a group of 10 people. We ordered Crispy Pata (Pork Knuckle), Paella Negra (quite sticky negra or black rice with slices of squid. It was negra because of the squid ink.), another pan of regular Paella, Pansit Bihon (dry noodles with vegetables), Tofu Sisig, Vegetable Lumpia, and Mixed Grilled Platter. We all loved the Pork Knuckle, Paella Negra, Tofu Sisig and the Platter. Personally, my highlight for this dinner is the Paella Negra! Since I love squid, I did not mind the black color and I could eat it right off the pan! I will definitely return to Crisostomo when I am in town!

Honestly, had second thoughts in going to this restaurant coz of a not so nice experience I've had years ago with their other branch in Resorts World. Since it's the request of my aunt so I have to give in. Surprisingly, this branch is way better in terms of food quality, service and delivery of our orders. The names of their dishes in their menu is pretty interesting as well. As you go through their menu you can't help but recall names of the character of El Filibusterismo. After dining here it totally changed my perception about this restaurant. However, I can't totally say anything about the other branches.

Got a table for 3 for New Years Eve. They charged 2,000Php per person, 6,000Php for the 3 of us. The 6,000 is consumable. How much food can 3 women eat? Definitely not 6,000Php worth and only one of us deinl alcoholic beverage. Needless to say we have change left from the 6,000Php which was to be issued in a giftcard form. Fine. However, they ran out of giftcard and I was suppose to be able to pickit up in aweeks time. Well, it's been 9 days and still no giftcard. The management knew that all their tables were booked out fie New Years Eve, isn't it common sense for the place to have anticipated that they'll need a considerable amamount of giftcards? It's not an ordinary night, it was New Year's Eve!!! What if I was a tourist and have to leave the city? Is this a ploy to keep the money left over? Giving one star is being generous!

PS. I'm in the same service industry business, own a private resort and we will never do anything like this to our customers. No wonder, the reviews they get is way below...

This has been our go-to restaurant since it first opened. It's particularly delightful for balikbayans and foreign guests. Food is cooked upon ordering. (This is definitely not a fastfood joint.) TIP: We usually make a reservation and order ahead to minimize waiting time. FAVORITES: These are consistently excellent: tinapang bangus samosas w/c comes with a very nice vinegar-based dipping sauce; eggplant omelette w/ kesong puti (surprisingly good); spicy fish balls & squid balls (our balikbayans like this); tempura w/ laing inside w/c comes with crabfat dipping sauce (sinfully rich, but definitely worth a try); paksiw na pompano sizzling squid; gambas; catfish w/ balo-balo (fermented shrimp); lechon kawali w/ pinakbet; and kare-kare (oxtail). The salads were all good. Other dishes were inconsistent in quality. NOTE: I like this place better than their Resorts...
